2027 TN WR Kesean Bowman (Oregon Decommit)

Five-star wide receiver Kesean Bowman was set to announce his commitment on February 10, but has now pushed it back, stating that he just is not ready to commit just yet. Bowman narrowed his choices down to Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Oregon, Miami, and Ohio State. It seemed like Tennessee, his home state team, was leading the way, but Vandy and Miami are making a surge for the elite pass catcher.

Deaths Of Notable Sports Figures (R.I.P.)

Clendon Thomas, Hall of Fame RB for Oklahoma in 1950s, dies at 90

OU Mourns Passing of Clendon Thomas - University of Oklahoma

Clendon Thomas, a Hall of Fame running back who helped Oklahoma win two national titles in the 1950s, has died. He was 90.

Chuck Bowman, Thomas' longtime friend and former college roommate, said Tuesday that Thomas died of pneumonia on Monday night in Tulsa.

Thomas played for the Sooners from 1955 to 1957 under coach Bud Wilkinson. He helped them win national titles in 1955 and 1956 and was a unanimous All-American in 1957. He was a significant contributor to Oklahoma's 47-game winning streak and helped the Sooners win three Big 7 championships.

Bowman, also 90, said he met Thomas when they both played in a high school All-Star football game in 1954, and they remained close from then on.

The Oklahoma City native was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in 1995 and the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 2011.

"Clendon Thomas was one of the great standard-bearers of Oklahoma football and a cornerstone of one of the most legendary teams our game has ever seen," NFF chairman Archie Manning said in a statement. "His excellence on the field, combined with his integrity and leadership off it, exemplified what it means to be a College Football Hall of Famer. He leaves behind a legacy that will endure. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing."

BuckeyePlanet Calls for Aid! -- Let this be the hour!

Keep in mind folks that once the EP's set up their scheme to get rich off this deal-expenses are ongoing.

Mike was fool enough to do it so let's not leave him twisting in the wind.

He can't wait until the money runs out to start asking, we need to figure out what we all can handle, lock it in and give the poor dumb sonofabitch some kind of monthly number to work off of.

If we can't all honestly come up with an ongoing number that is truly comfortable for the giver and for BP then that's ok. They need to know what reality is one way or the other.

If your number is zero then it's zero but let's just be honest, not do some up front rush that we won't do again in 90 days.

I'm going to re allocate some of my @Thump mom money for this so it may cost me a couple of dozen hummers but it's money I already spend anyway.
I fall in the old and fixed income category. I'm pretty sure I can come up with $1.47/month without having to cut out my meds. That more than covers the value of associating with you meatheads.

BuckeyePlanet Calls for Aid! -- Let this be the hour!

Easier to make this a paid site with monthly or annual fee option vs voluntary contributions
I know that was a major desire for Clarity but it caused immense problems and will again

Well there is actually a simple answer to that.

A) site pays for itself via members
B) we have to find another place to hang out that doesn't have expenses.

Soooo Keep the lights on in the current bar or find a new bar. Those are our options.

Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

I'm not of the collective mindset here laughing at a Monken hire.

Not as an offensive mind, anyway. He turned the Ravens offense into a top 6 unit his 1st season there. Helped pave the way for Lamars most efficient & healthy season as a QB. That was while his best skill players were Mark Andrews and a rookie Zay Flowers.

He has a pretty quality track record of improving offenses his last 10 years.

- Jameis Winston was actually a solid player and not a turnover machine for the 3 years he was in Tampa.

- He saved Freddie Kitchens from himself while trying to turn Baker into a consistent vertical passer.

- Made Stetson Bennett and the Georgia offense an efficient machine.

It isn't the 'splash' name or the fancy young kids that everyone thinks will be the next Sean McVay. And that's where I think the backlash is coming from.
