The tandem of Mobley and Thornton can/will be definitely exceptional. Doesn't really seem important who brings down the ball, the other one will be setting up on the perimeter to take a jumper. Also will be easier to defeat a press. Anyway, looks like the Basketball Bucks will be fielding an entertaining team this year, with the possibility of winning more than it's share of games. Let's hope Diebs can stir this drink.....

Not certain that tOSU has had these diverse skills residing in a C. Looking forward to seeing them in person. Probably go to the Grambling game, as well as the Nebraska one while in C'bus. Plus, up to four WBB games. Am too stingy to pay for B10+ channel. Tried to sign up two years ago, but the maze of click here, and then here, etc soured me. Go Bucks! PS, am looking forward to Devin (at the 3), crashing down on the boards, instead of being the 'main man'.

those 3 all got to LSU at a point in their careers where they all still had something to prove. They all knew LSU could provide all of the pieces to be able to prove it, but they also knew that THEY had to prove it. And all of them did whatever it took to get there. They approached the job with the same passion the fans have for the team. They chased Championships. And all 3 got one.

Kelly came here with just one piece missing from his resume. Probably was getting into the Hall of Fame even with that piece missing.
Kelly approached the job as if LSU being LSU would be enough on its own to bring a title to him. He didn't chase it. He expected it to fall in his lap. It was like he truly believed it was ND's fault he didn't already have one and that LSU would just give him one if he just graced us with his presence.

And honestly, the team even looked like they too thought they just had to "show up" to win.

and as we all know, College Football doesn't work that way.
you have to go out and take it.

yeah LSU has every conceivable tool you'll ever need to win titles. But if you don't use every single one of them, you ain't gonna win one, because somebody else out there is using all of his.
