2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

You have missed a lot of cancer kid stories….
Good god, I hate that melodramatic crap. I tune into college football to get away from the realities of day-to-day life not to have it crammed down my throat with a fucking soundtrack and Herbsteit's affected crocodile tears when the segment ends.

2026 OH DB Jakob Weatherspoon (OSU decommit, North Carolina Verbal)

Guess he saw 2 other elite safeties already on board and also the good chance of Womack making it a 3rd elite safety. Less competition at UNC.
I can see that being the biggest sell for UNC. He’s the highest rated DB in their class of 7 DBs. He was the 3rd S for OSU and over 100 spots lower than Caldwell. And I’m sure with his rating being so high in their class, I’m sure his NIL deal will also be more too.

Sidenote: I find it funny seeing his profile pic on 247 still being him in an OSU hat

Glad I dont watch pregame shows anymore. I mean, whats the point? Last I saw, they were light on analysis, as an industry standard not just the fine folks at ESPiN. Heavy on hype, which im just not interested in. So... I could give a shit who the personnel is gonna be.

If I had my way, every game would be broadcast in the spider cam view they had during the play offs. And nothing but the stadium announcer calling down and distance. Color commentary? We'll, I guess that depends on your guests and ones willingness to engage jn conversation during a game, I spoze.
I haven't watched a second of Gameday or any of the other pregame shows since probably 2018 or 2019.

SEC (It just means more.. even its losses are wins)

To your point, how do teams practice all year for one way and then have to adjust immediately for another set of rules come playoff time.

This reeks of somebody influential complaining loudly in the off season and my guess would be Steve Sarkesian, Hugh Freeze or Josh Heupel
The rare 2-and-a-half hour delayed echo.

Or... the officials are used to certain rules, and come playoff time, they are used to those rules and need to remember that those rules are different in some Big Ten vs ACC game.
Ha - remember when Indiana got penalized for a late hit out of bounds, even though the Notre Dame quarterback hadn't yet gone out of bounds? I know I'm changing subjects, but that was stupid.

Can a conference change a National rule? My guess as to why is that offsides gets called for the slightest twitch and possibly kills too many drives. Fans want scoring. Unless it’s the wrong team scoring.
