Because the scUM people unplugged them. There's a video of people in scUM gear messing around near the comms hub, and the Buckeyes staff telling them to GTFO.

There is no incentive for the owners to do anything differently. Their net worth has jumped tremendously. They are getting massive public money for their ego project (new stadium). And when the numbers don’t add up from the new place they will cry poor and get more public money. Plus, fans continue to flock to their games and the rest will be the cost of season tickets to the new venue. I expect they will follow the trend of reducing number of seats while jacking ticket prices.
