Best Italian beef in the Chicago suburbs?
Johnnie’s Beef in Arlington Hts

Combo of the hot peppers in the sandwich and the chill from the Italian ice lemonade was perfect.

I went to Johnnie’s for lunch today, I live less than 15 minutes away but had never been there.

I went in to the counter and ordered to go, getting a double Italian sausage with peppers for me and an Italian beef au jus for the wife, and I was in and out of there in less than 90 seconds! The food was excellent, thanks for the recommendation.

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

I want to believe that its Mike Hart, but I just can't.
The way he quietly disappeared from their program after 2023 was always weird to me. He left without a peep. For a "program legend" and a guy who was actually the Interim freaking HC for a game earlier that season is strange. I'm wondering if he had a crisis of conscience, left the program, and spilled his guts to the NCAA. At least that's what I'm hoping.

The above is a result of a quick-and-dirty DSA of Rattler's numbers on the season.

It shows his PE vs each opponent and his quick-and-dirty Differential PE against each opponent.

Context is important: Of the 4 games where Rattler did better than the average performance against his opponent, 2 of those games occurred with the fewest and the 2nd fewest passing attempts of the season. His performance against KY coincided with the Cocks' run-heaviest gameplan of the year by far. The second fewest passing attempts came against Vandy, and that just happened to be his second best passing game of those that are not under suspicion.

Then we have the other two games above the mean.

Against Tennessee, SR had by far his best game of the year in spite of having his HIGHEST pass attempts on the season. He threw one fewer pass against Clemson, but still managed to throw two interceptions. Regardless, he still had a rare day above the mean.

The Clemson game is suspicious. Against all other teams with a pulse, Rattler was ass. And then he wasn't. In other games where he threw the ball that much, he was unwiped ass. And then he wasn't.
The Tennessee game is glaring. Outliers that big are rare. Outliers that big when the context suggests that particular data point should be an outlier in the other direction are damn near dispositive.

I see a statistical outlier like that and I shoot the son of a bitch. That's my policy

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

I like how these three posts summarize things and bring us up-to-date:

The one piece of info from the documentary that CS didn’t lie about was the garage scene, where he had each signal and would practice them throughout the week… I fully believe he did this and it was basically his life to learn a new language in a week leading up to that opponent (that’s not super difficult when the language isn’t the English dictionary of all words)…
Its the means in which he got the information to create his signal dictionary…
What he’s saying is correct… it’s not a super difficult play call, though it’s still a bit more complicated than he put in his tweet, but the key piece of what he said is rather “elementary”
Like the documentary however, what he’s not saying is how the f did he know the signal for “Y” and the signal for “delay”… in order to get that, takes illegal scouting to determine what the signal is for “Y” which you would have to see ran 100s of times to figure out the consistent signal being called… and then you’d have to see 100s of plays where “delay” was also called to determine that was the delay signal. You have to do this for each any every formation, protection, route, etc for the entire playbook to create his signal dictionary. You 100% can not do this in real time, there simply isn’t enough plays or data… you 100% can not do this via the broadcast or all22…
He only confirms… again… that he knew every signal for the entire playbook and it can only be obtained if you have the signal playbook (I don’t believe he had) or if you illegally scout games with the intent of matching every sign to each play to create your “dictionary”

Reminder. Stalions was not at CMU to steal MSUs signals. He already had them. He was primarily there to assist CMU. I told you that over a year ago because off-camera, Connor is a narcissist that couldn’t resist revealing the layers of his “genius plan” like a bumbling Bond villain to a Netflix production crew he barely knew. You’re seeing the fallout now.

Also, 22Buck is a legend and frankly, a friend. I can’t think of anyone that doesn’t like him, certainly not within the 11w community. I would caution anyone into getting into a “source-off” with him. He/we may not always get the craziest Thamel/Dellinger level bombshells but speaking in terms of solely who is being spoken to, I would put 22Buck up against anyone on the OSU beat and probably even nationally when it comes to the sign stealing scandal specifically.

Keeping in mind UM's strategy of defiance that early in the investigation...
Suppose - hypothetically, of course - the involved parties at both schools colluded to square their stories and hide (or even destroy) evidence.
NCAA enforcement already had more info than UM realized at the time, and likely would have flagged anything that didn't line up.
Then a certain Chippewa - perhaps not a coach - decides protecting the Harbaugh crime syndicate isn't worth flushing their career over.
We're days away from the world learning UM's punishment and there are still bodies being uncovered.
Wild.
