It almost seems worse to need the refs to bail you out to beat a MAC team and have that be the major story than to just lose to the MAC team. I mean, nobody talks about how scUM lost to a 1AA team at home anymore, right? The only way they can avoid sucking is to cheat. That's the real story.

that too...or if they don't snap the damn ball with 15 or 20 seconds on the final offensive drive....or if they don't botch the snap on 3rd and short...or if the refs call a CLEAR and BLATANT facemask on the 2nd to last drive...

So many what ifs.

One thing that isn't a what if is WMU got absolutely fucked on the clock review.

Sock is wondering if he is that bad, if it’s coaching, or is it both? He doesn’t even have the basics down. Footwork isn’t great and he doesn’t go through his reads. Wasn’t this guy the best player on most recruiting services on every recruiting site? Sock so confused.

Heck, the pass that got them to mid field on that last drive should have been knocked down too. Lucky ass throw and catch.

There were a million little things that led to the end but ultimately it was still blatantly taken away from WMU in front of our eyes.

I woke up still pissed off. That was a LOSS. The fact THAT school is the one that keeps evading what they deserve makes me lose my mind.
