Trying to think of QBs who might be equal or better. Hoover at Indiana is a huge drop off from Mendoza. The coaster QBs at usc, UCLA and Oregon were over hyped, Manning has been exposed, and Mateer is meh. That leaves Carr, with the ND hype machine and an incredibly weak schedule, and the kid from Alabama. So, really, whose his competition for the O’Brien?

I’m fine with that, but keep him out of the Heisman talk. Two players from the same school going for that only improves the chances of Carr.

I fell very much the same, bri. I left the game wondering in how much regard we might hold him if he had an average receiving corps. Missing wide open receivers in the end zone is not a recipe for success in parity games.

His issue is that he chooses to do dumb shit almost all the time. For some reason, he chose to not do that against us. It's not like other teams make him do dumb shit and we didn't do those things to make him do dumb shit. He just chooses to, and he forgot to for a quarter.

At this point you have to think they are either being made to do it by company exec's for monetary reasons or they have been at "have a take and don't suck" for so long as professional culture, that they actually have lost the ability to think (to whatever degree they ever had it).

I always remind myself when I marvel at their stupidity- no one chooses to be a sports journalist. They were rejected from something else, then went into sports "journalism". Typically the ability to play sports is what did it, they either never had it or had it and lost it.

Regardless, you end up with the Herbie's of the world opining about where Arch gets drafted.

I don’t know who team is….bit Chiefs don’t make a lot of sense to me personally. On the field, his biggest frustration looks like his agitation of not playing in rhythm and on schedule.
