Cracked me up but honestly it's how I felt. We screwed the pooch winning meaningless games near the end of the season and #10 meant no Downs or Reese (most likely). Buckeye homerism aside, those are the only two I wanted there due to needs for a playmaker on the front or back end of the defense. Actually Bain is who I really wanted but he's also likely gone by then. I don't see that being there at our position and the franchise NEVER trades up. We probably would have botched the pick, but instead we get one of the best DTs in the league. Great move.
I think he'll be fine. He's their savior now, not Underwood, and Whittingham strikes me as a no fucks to give when it comes to the fanbase. If Underwood clearly sucks, I think the fans will rally around Whittingham. It also might put a nail on the coffin for any future Ellison NIL money, which would be a good thing.Good luck to Whittingham they will have his head if he even thinks about benching the 12 million dollar QB
I don't understand the muted response from that receiver. Quite frankly, I think Underwood should just hold his powder until just before The Game. Buckeye defensive backs appreciate real artistry from a $12M phenom. Surely, they will be cheering him on to throw behind the back, between his legs, and let's not forget the hidden weapon...a new iteration of the spin pass. He and TCUN fans deserve that kind of on the field recognition. Not sure if this already got posted here but of course the only real hype that Underwood got this spring was from a play that 99.9% of the time would absolutely not work in a real game. Spin pass 2.0
(Notice how the hype crowd ignores that the defense had basically had stopped trying by the time this happened because it was basically a sack too lol)

Offensive growth and putting together a cohesive unit is the least of my worries with this coaching staff.
I just watched it. Holy hell he's awful.
There are high schoolers taking their first varsity snaps that are better.
Unfortunately evidence points to McLain sucks
