Three huge targets in the top 10 players:
CB James Allen at 1, WR Maddox Porter at 4 and LB Austin Phillips at 8. All three will be on campus this fall and Walton, Hankton and Laurinaitis are already all over them.

Early #1 LB Austin Phillips is shaping up to be an Ohio State/Notre Dame battle with Indiana having an outside shot. He camped at both Ohio State and Notre Dame this summer and will visit them both as well as Indiana this fall.

#1 target at QB this early is Ty Snell and he checks in as the 50th best player. Snell recently said the commitment of Vargas doesn’t turn him off from Ohio State and he will be at a game this season.

Never understood this practice by healthy people since those spaces are usually closest to the entrance. I am a fat old man with a desk/computer job and always look for a spot far away from the entrance so that I get at least a bit of exercise when I go places since I sit on my ass most of the time.

We brought in a vet for that nightmare scenario. Even so, I hope they all get early reps. Everyone can't be Haskins and come in new and cold and win The Game.

The tricky part is the guys Day will empty from the bench are light years beyond the guys Ball State has for backups, and Ball State doesn’t want starters hurt so they will rotate too.

I hate betting these kinds of games, they are unique to college football. The true talent monsters like OSU can cover those kind of spreads more often than you’d think. I know nothing about Ball State other than the talent difference is significant

This is very understated.

Shoulders are still considered possible career Enders. Pitchers are almost relieved when it’s elbow vs shoulder.

If it’s a labrum he has a real problem. You can make it back but most likely you will never be the same pitcher again.
