NCAA - slowly ruining football (rules changes - merged)

It's about to be. I have no interest in arguing over whether the 8th place SEC team or the 7th place B1G gets the last spot.

But really, I want no part in a 12 team playoff, yet here we are.... I thought 6 was the limit. 5 champs, 1 at large (the ND "allowance"). You want to be the National Champion? Win your conference.....

But in this sport the 7-8th in the SEC is a different breed of team than the Mountain West winner.

Giving them an auto bid is charity. They have zero chance to win.

Fuck that noise. I want to part of watching G6 teams get ass pounded by P4 teams.

This isn’t basketball.

They allowed hardly anything though? How do you play very sloppy with minimal allowance in any facet?

Not sure what you mean, but these two have been arguably the most impactful in the Defense so far this season. Having them back is crucial.

Now we should have the 3 backers as Alliegro, Pettijohn and Alford and Timmons puts our Nickel back at full strength. Against Marsh and Becker that combination is our best option.

You mean the TE who caught 18 passes for 166 yards in his lone season in a P4 conference (and it was the ACC) isn't going to turn that offense around?

Not unless he can throw it to himself, no.

scUM going where even the SEC drew the line and gaming for eligibility for two pretty mundane players that they were saving roster spots for in Mid October is pretty hilarious.

Michigan Wolverines may add two players via transfer portal after a temporary restraining order granted eligibility ahead of the Penn State game.

Yeah, unless they are saving a spot for Josh Allen, there is no help on the way.
