2026 Winter Olympics (Milan - Cortina, Feb 6-20)

Just sayin': I totally agree; however, it's his money and he can afford it. Besides it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to claim it as an advertising/promotion expense for his ESPN show(s) (i.e. a tax write off) too.....

Pat McAfee’s deal with ESPN is for five years and around $85 million, The Post has learned.
The stunner to me is that McAfee's 36. I don't pay much attention to him but I thought he was 45 or so.

Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey (2019 B1G Champions)

Thumped #1 ranked Sparty 5-1 in East Lansing. We'll probably split with them and then hopefully sweep a terrible ND team at home to finish the regular season. It's been a disappointing year, but Rohlik has totally pulled this team together and has them playing high end hockey in the last third of the season. We're never going to be a perennial blueblood, so these occasional rebuilding years are our lot in life, but this team should contend for a B1G title and NCAA berth next year.

Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

If we need Porter and Schroeder at guard.. we're screwed.. just awful.. They clearly lost us this game
Makes it worse.. I was a Porter fan and always liked Schroeder but this Schroeder thinks he's Schroeder of 10 yrs ago and he ain't it any more
Both are valuable off the bench for limited minutes…neither can carry the team throughout a game. I mean, the trades were great and all…on paper…but if most of these guys are going to be in street clothes most of the time like the other guys were, they really didn’t do much.

Miami (OH) Redhawks (Basketball Official Thread)

No. 21 Miami (Ohio) survives WMU with late layup, improves to 29-0

The RedHawks (16-0 Mid-American Conference) remain the only undefeated team in Division I men's basketball. Miami extended the best start in program history and added to its school record for wins in a season. Miami also boasts the best start and longest win streak in MAC annals.

Miami is also just the fourth Division I team in the past 20 years to enter March unbeaten, according to ESPN Research. The previous three (2013-14 Wichita State, 2014-15 Kentucky and 2020-21 Gonzaga) all remained unbeaten heading into the NCAA tournament.

CB Lorenzo Styles Jr. (All B1G, National Champion, New Orleans Saints)

Man, I heard back then from a running coach that Ted's fastest splita were probably between 30 to 60 yards/ meters. So when everyone else was peaking or alowing down, he was just getting to his top end speed! Now I don't know if that wax technically true. What I do know is that cat was the fastest man I've ever personally seen in football equipment!

One of the few things I do know is - I've never seen a player close to Ginn when it comes to straight line speed. He somehow even made it look slow because of his long smooth strides, but then the gap behind him would grow and grow. I think maybe the closest straight line speed guy next up would be Parris Campbell? I know Ballard allegedly had elite speed but I'm also not sure we ever saw that in a game.
