Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

It's true. They are much better at cheating than anyone else.
This is really interesting because just this morning I watched the Greg Olsen interview with Ryan Day (I just posted it in the Ryan Day thread). The very next thread I read was this one. Hearing Day talk about the expectations he has of his coaches and then reading Fat Tony taking his shot at Day (knowing that Alford's frustration is coming from not meeting those expectations) is illuminating.

One things is for certain, Fat Tony is not in the better place, but he sure is in the right place for him.

OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (National Champion)

Brian Hartline is stealing one key strategy from Chip Kelly ahead of Ohio State’s Week 1 showdown with Texas

img_2945.jpg

While Hartline didn’t expand on the decision, it’s easy to look back at what Kelly and Day said last August to find the pros of being higher and away from the action. Day said the organization that comes with having space is part of it.

“I think, for him, being able to get organized up there. He’s got the tablet up there. He’s got his call sheet up there. He can really be clean after every series. I think that’s one of the things two that he and I were talking about was that when you’re on the sideline and you’re the head coach, you have your call sheet, but it’s hard to get your next series ready when you’re doing all these other things.”

Kelly had been used to being a head coach in the NFL or college for years, minus 2009, so that was a big change at the moment. The new Las Vegas Raiders general manager has adjusted, and Hartline’s willingness to try it his way could benefit the offense as much as anything else.

“When you’re up there, you’ve got a desk, you can sit down and you get your thoughts organized for the next series,” Day said. “You can go through everything. You can communicate well. So, that’s gonna be his plan.”

2027 PA RB Kemon Spell (Penn St. Verbal)

Maybe it’s just me, but if you’re admitting that six schools reportedly have a chance of flipping you, it’s fair to wonder just how strong the original commitment is in the first place.

Just sayin': Mr. Spell is just a Junior this season, probably realizes that a lot can change in college football over the next 2 years, and just wants to keep his options open.

1. He may not be 100% totally sold on Penn State for a variety of reasons.

2. His NIL offer from Penn State is probably based on today's rate for a top running back. Who knows what NIL money will be offered in 2 years for a top running back? It could go a lot higher. Keeping his options open in case a significantly higher NIL offer comes in over the next 2 years is probably a good "business decision" too.

I don't think we will be hearing from Dave Wilson again as he likely succumbed to suffocation from this intense Manning Bukkake

NFL Buckeyes Tracker 9-3-2025 update = 69 NFL Buckeyes - 34 starters

I love following this.

Just keep in mind Quinshon Judkins is set to sign any day. He and the Browns are in a short-lived contract dispute and CLE tried to protect itself from fuck dumb-fuckery and Jenkins and his agent try to get something that resembles a standard 2nd rd pick contract while maintaining his innocence bc charges were dropped.

In a rare moment….i agree with CLE reasoning.

SG Allan Hornyak (All B1G, All-American, R.I.P.)

I remember watching Hornyak as a high school student. What really was incredible was his range. Only Steph Curry and Rick Mount could match his range. All the basketball games were carried on channel 4 (NBC). The announcer was Jimmy Crum and he would yell "how about that sports fan?" after a particularly long shot.
