2025-2026 College Basketball General Discussion

I watched this live go back and watch the replay whoever is doing the clock screwed up royal it wasn't until the guy was near half court did it start actually running from the 3.6 it started. I am not sure how someone screws it up this badly as the guy who is shooting it thinks he has plenty of time to get it off when in reality he might not have. Great shot and all but maybe the 3.6 would ran out or maybe he would rushed it.
Sucks for Navy this was their best team since David Robinson 1986 team and they had won 14 in a row.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

The more I watch the game vs Miami, the less I'm worried about the receivers and play calling... the more I'm worried about the OL. That 2nd play in particular, Julian was locked in. Pass pro just didn't hold up.

Early and often, OL was the Achilles heel.

Still won't stop the stupid narrative that Day was the issue...

Offensive line play HAS to improve against athletic fronts this next season.

edit: I said Julian has to take the next step to an NFL passer. He's capable, but I won't just single him out. Individually & collectively the OL play needs to improve. If it doesn't, you're going to see another early playoff exit.

Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Was surprised by the Bouzakis/Volk outcome - wonder if Nic was gassed?

Bummed Cannon looks far from his ceiling with his injury, hopefully another week plus at least helps somewhat.

Happy Stiles was able to make it to the finals. Mendez looks like Mendez. Davino looks to be on fire again, him vs Blaze should be a blast.

OT Austin Siereveld, Captain (All B1G, National Champion)

Am betting that Siereveld is pushed inside this year (RG methinks), while one of the younger guys are put in the LT position. Is he valuable, certainly, and needs to have a place on the OL. Can see Bowen making changes, looking for that best front 5 to take the field. Can always stick a TE on the left to help with leakage, until the newbie 'gets it'. Certainly have upcoming talent at LT, only not ripe yet.
I think he is more naturally suited for OG, but you put your best guy there regardless when the necessity arises and we've seen this in the past (see Donovan Jackson). So I'm sure Austin will get some reps there and may end up being the guy there. Even if it's not his natural position at the next level, it helps the team and typically helps his draft stock showing the versatility to swing out to tackle.

Airport annoyances

The way airlines change gates these days, am surprised that a changed destination doesn't happen more often. Have been flying more, back and forth to C'bus, overseas, Hawaii, Australia, etc, so invested in a $495 American credit card that gains us automatic entry to the lounges (seems like wait time between legs is loooonger). Good investment, has paid back couple of times, and no waiting on the food. Some lounges are better than others, and large hubs have more and better served than the smaller. Anyway, far better than sitting in waiting area with the masses. PS, also lets one board earlier, so can get overhead bin space. Wife gets all the credit for this one....two trips left, River cruise this year in Europe, and next year for last golf cruise to Ireland and Scotland. (Wife likes cruises, cause all she has to do is get dolled up and show up).
Kind of off topic but speaking of river cruises, have you ever done the delta in a houseboat? That was one of my grandfather's favorite things besides deep sea fishing.
