Airport annoyances

The way airlines change gates these days, am surprised that a changed destination doesn't happen more often. Have been flying more, back and forth to C'bus, overseas, Hawaii, Australia, etc, so invested in a $495 American credit card that gains us automatic entry to the lounges (seems like wait time between legs is loooonger). Good investment, has paid back couple of times, and no waiting on the food. Some lounges are better than others, and large hubs have more and better served than the smaller. Anyway, far better than sitting in waiting area with the masses. PS, also lets one board earlier, so can get overhead bin space. Wife gets all the credit for this one....two trips left, River cruise this year in Europe, and next year for last golf cruise to Ireland and Scotland. (Wife likes cruises, cause all she has to do is get dolled up and show up).
Kind of off topic but speaking of river cruises, have you ever done the delta in a houseboat? That was one of my grandfather's favorite things besides deep sea fishing.

Indiana at Ohio State, Sat. 3/7, 5:30 ET on Fox

That's the way you handle a Hoosier, ya give 'em a slap, see?

Great all around game, hope what we've seen at the end of the year can be replicated and we can stay relatively fresh and healthy. I'm really liking the finished product this team is becoming.

SF Brandon Noel (Official Thread)

Ohio State's Brandon Noel likely to return for Big Ten Tournament

March 6, 2026,
“We’re excited to get him back,” Diebler said. “We just don’t know exactly when it’s going to be yet, but there’s a real likelihood we’ll be able to get him on the floor next week.”

Need a replacement for Thornton (natch), and couple of bigs to replace Noel and Tilly. Don't believe Cupps is the answer, but a 6'8" PG seems to be a hard thing, trying to break a press and all. Be nice for a mis-match though. Have (hopefully) two more years of Mobley, and not entirely certain that Taisman sticks around. Bynum is solid #4, Royal a solid #3, Mobley solid #2. Need some backfilling, and see the new guy getting a shot at #3. Anyway, back to reality....

OT Austin Siereveld, Captain (All B1G, National Champion)

Am betting that Siereveld is pushed inside this year (RG methinks), while one of the younger guys are put in the LT position. Is he valuable, certainly, and needs to have a place on the OL. Can see Bowen making changes, looking for that best front 5 to take the field. Can always stick a TE on the left to help with leakage, until the newbie 'gets it'. Certainly have upcoming talent at LT, only not ripe yet.

OL Coach Tyler Bowen (Official Thread)

Was kinda wondering, these guys all seem like accomplished coaches. OK, so their coaching room, sits down and agrees (?) on how/what/etc to coach the line. Everyone has different tendencies, agreed. So when gets down to the actual X's and O's (all O's in this case), is Bowen drifting around making certain AC #2 is having the line block left on thus and such play, or right? Am confused here. Watching film is one thing, but applying the lessons on the practice afield are another. What trying to mumble, is head OL coach setting the tone, and/or open to suggestion? Guess we need one of the BPers to sit in on a coaching meeting to report back....

This team is humming. Peaking at the right time? How awesome would that be!

Congrats Bruce, on one hell of a Buckeye career!
We're definitely peaking at the right time, defense has got much better and less stupid fouls/turnovers it seems. I think the players know their roles and are settled into them. Hope we get a crack in the Tourney, we could be a dangerous team (albeit depth is a big issue if we get into foul trouble).
