Yeah I’m sure… what I saw today was really disappointing. I would’ve wanted to see him not bounce every throw to a WR. I mean that was Missouri level QB play where there’s just no shot.

Going to learn a lesson here either way

Coaches need to take a hard look at the QB spot though. I saw a QB that was afraid out there with Fahey. Every throw was in the dirt and that can’t happen.

Bellasari came in for Moherman in ‘99 against Miami simply to protect the life of the 1st guy before he was injured. He looked like Bellasari.

Brown had to play that Mizzou Bowl game after a transfer, not an injury. He was completely over matched.

On one hand I'm assuming it's the moment that gave him nerves, on the other hand I've never seen a 4 star player look that visibly shaken and unprepared to play QB.

Doesn't inspire confidence that's for sure.

I have a feeling this is a season ending injury. We have to wait. But in a slight looks bad and probably will require surgery.

That play wasn't called for JS, he's just the easy cheat code when all else fails.

I expected to have some kind of answer about him after this game, and all we're left with is wondering what the fuck is wrong with OLine under Ryan Day. Not a good game by the OC, not a bad game. Very frustrating.

QB Luke Fahey (Official Thread)

The moment looked to big for him and it was a clown show. Knowing the offense and having run a similar offense in high school and playing well against Ball State is one thing. Being a gamer when it matters is another. You can’t tell me that TSC couldn’t have been better than that. This wasn’t Kenny Guiton or Cardale Jones or Dwayne Haskins. We have a problem and I hope TSCs gotten better in the last few weeks.

They probably do. Injuries are universally bad in the eye of any logical human. That last catch to win at home against a top 5 opponent and a win streak to only catch the ball out of bounds. Yes. As a fan of the sport, college athlete, and logical human, YES. I feel bad for the kid.

With 4 or 5 WR's plus the TE to throw to, plus check down to RB I don't see why that wouldn't work. He looked good, if against the MAC, earlier. We know he is capable. 2 weeks to get Fahey ready. How much of a qb wizard is day, though. We'll see.

I’m kinda with you. A couple of weeks to get timing down with the 1s, his mobility — should Day allow for it, but I think he has to — will have the potential to really open a lot of things up. It could be a lot of fun to watch.
