2026 tOSU Defense Discussion

I think there's something to be read into Scott and West leaving and Sanchez staying and at least competing for a starting spot. Clearly, Walton sees something in him. I liked IGB, but he was as much a liability as a gamer, actually because he was such a gamer. My guess is that Sanchez will ultimately be the better player.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

I didn’t watch the game last night and won’t watch any more football until next August (possibly our spring game), but I watched the clip of Mendoza’s run to win it. THAT was a baller play. THAT’s what I want from a QB. THAT’s what Krenzel, Howard, and Jones had inside them. We’ve got to find that in Sayin.

NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

And the GM Brandon Beane stays, and even gets a promoted title.

Unreal what some of these GMs have on their owners. He built the roster that relied on Mecole Hardman and Brandin Cooks in the year 2026. Terrible.

McDermott probably had to go, just to do something different, but it’s insanity to promote the GM. Him and Ballard in Indy (9+ years with no success) are cockroaches.

Just promote Joe Brady? Seems like the most logical move.

NCAA - slowly ruining football (rules changes - merged)

After watching several; NFL games; I became a fan of their "dynamic kickoff". It puts a premium on the kicker being able to kick the ball as close to the goal line as possible without going over it and there are a whole lot more runbacks on the kickoff, etc. I think the NCAA should adopt it or something very similar.

I was told that the rule was changed to cut down on injuries.
After a few years of this new rule, have injuries gone down?
If yes, then sure - college should do it.
If no, then no - I don't see it as being all that great.

Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Honest question. Who else called game losing int when Miami started the last drive?
Probably everyone. It was always going to be either an INT or a TD.
That was what I said. Touchdown or interception.

Yeah. Props to IU for stopping that bitch program from getting back on top.
Agreed.
I was texting a buddy before the game. I said here's a list of teams that I might actually root for Miami to beat: Cheaters. That might be it.
"Never" is too soon for their next championship.

Me to the board sometime during the 3rd quarter or at the start of the 4th
I'm tempted to test fate again ... and lay out my prediction from the Bears Rams game.... in this one... I think everyone knows what it is

Property tax increases

Anyone else get a drastic increase in their triennial tax assessment?

Boy, I sure did! :smash::smash:
I’m guessing you don’t live in Texas where it’s every year and there is a cottage industry for protesting them.

Yes there is no state income tax here but they get their pounds of flesh through property tax.
