2025 Fall Camp and Other Tidbits

Birm said on snap judgements that typically early in camp the defense is ahead of the offense but that this case the gap is particularly wide and it stands out considering the offensive talent. Said he was surprised to see the offensive line interior getting worked - or something to that effect because that is supposed to be the proven component of the line.

I’m not offering any opinions, I just thought it was interesting.

I was at the game today. It's always exciting to see a MLB Debut, especially when it's a well-regarded prospect. Even though the box score shows an 0-fer, I liked his at-bats. He didn't look like a deer in the headlights and looked comfortable. He may have been awarded a hit if Brooks Lee didn't make a great play, picking the short hop during his second at-bat.
