Ethan Stiles concluded his first NCAA Championships with a sixth-place finish and All-American honors.

Ethan Stiles – 149: All-American, sixth place
Stiles DEC Willie McDougald (Oklahoma) 6-4
Stiles MD Kyle Parco (Iowa) 8-0
Dylan D'Emilio (Ohio State) DEC Stiles 7-3
Stiles FALL Malyke Hines (Lehigh) 2:11
Stiles DEC Sammy Alvarez (Rider) 4-2
Shayne Van Ness (Penn State) FALL Stiles 1:57
Lachlan McNeil (North Carolina) DEC Stiles 8-4

Stiles finished his debut season at Oregon State with a 17-8 mark that saw multiple six-bout winning streaks across the 149-lb. and 157-lb. weight classes.
Really nice get in the portal, Stiles is a good one and has plenty of eligibility left. I would view this as basically getting D'Emilio back, but with 3 years left and more upside.

@MPhillips do you think we have a decent shot on Fishback? That would be another big one that could really pay off, kid is a stud.

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Being a freak athlete is way better than being a football player. I think we can all agree with that.

Sounds like a bunch of BS to me anyways, if the kid is that much of a freak athlete with NFL measurables all around, with the portal he wouldn't have been at Princeton the last 3 years

At 6-foot and 215 pounds, Volker has a unique blend of size and speed. Mike Fenske, who serves as an advisor to Volker, spoke with On3’s EJ Holland to detail that further.

“The thing that stands out is he’s a freak athlete,” Fenske said. “If you look at his running numbers, his 40, his vertical and his lifting numbers, he would be up there with anybody at this year’s NFL combine. He has a 40-inch vertical and a legitimate 4.4 40. He ran 4.4 in high school. He’s solid at 6-foot, 215 pounds. I think he’s going to surprise a lot of people.

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

The kid from Cincy will be their main back. They may be looking to make this kid their second back.

They just added a RB from PRINCETON as well. These late additions of below mid guys from Umass and the Ivy League can't mean good things for the RBs currently on their roster

His sophomore season (which he ended up redshirting) wasn't as productive, carrying the ball only 28 times and for 96 yards and two scores, but he really started to prove himself in his junior and senior seasons.

In Volker's third year at Princeton, he rushed 92 times for 438 yards and seven touchdowns. Then, as a senior, he ran for 514 yards on 89 carries for six touchdowns as he battled injuries throughout the season.

Injury prone and barely cracked 1,000 yards combined in 3 seasons in the Ivy League very impressive. on3 has him as the #126 ranked RB in the portal

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Guy ran for 529 yards last year at Umass playing a MAC level schedule, he didn't break 100 yards in a single game one time, failed to reach even 50 yards 5 times. Of course DFBIA could twist that into him being some "Baby Saquon".

Their best RB in their spring game was a walk on though so maybe he is compared to the others at this point though.
The kid from Cincy will be their main back. The kid they got from Bama is probably RB2.

I think/hope Day breaking through and winning the national title this last season will loosen him up and get rid of his John Cooper syndrome of having his team play tight against scUM. Sayin is the type of strong armed accurate QB too that I don't even think bad weather can help save scUM this year either.
