Drove to Indy to see Odyssey on IMAX (still sold out for virtually every seat)

In an age short on spectacle and wonder, the screen and his storytelling delivered both.

Nolan's most visceral creation. The terror was palpable for so many scenes, as was the anguish.

Predictably, the social media stupidity was not a big factor. helen only a factor for those hungry to whine. I would argue Page was a pretty fitting choice for that role.

Another stellar cast for Nolan.

Not the pure gold that he often delivers, and not something I imagine rewatching like many of his creations, but a welcome return to the magic of theater.

I'd add starting field position for drives as something that could be a problem if the Buckeyes don't get their special teams return game shit together. Can't have a game this week in which they have to go an average of 60-65 yards to score a TD while we have to go 75-80. Also, let's remember that they had no college film on Patricia last year. I don't think Arch is going to light it up or anything, but I don't expect to see the Underwood-like deer in the headlights we had last year either. In the end, if special teams fuckery is avoided, I think we'll be good, but it won't be easy, and we'd better shut down the running game.

What floors me is a year later after Julian already went to New York… It’s damn near consensus AGAIN that Manning gives them the advantage at QB.

How do you watch the two play and come away with Arch being the better QB?

I don’t follow at all, and when I hear that argument I Question the persons intelligence or their ability to read. All you have to do is look at the stats. One almost set the yearly completion percentage mark and the other still throws into double coverage multiple times a game. What are we even doing here?

Then there’s this odd thing that this year Texas spent money on their roster. I assure you they did last year and btw they spent more than we did in 2024 too.

Both rosters are great, and it’ll come down to the simple things as it always does.

2. LOS

I’m confident Julian will take care of the ball. Can anyone say the same for Arch? Bottom line is that if our OL isn’t just an absolute mess we’ll win the game.

If it’s circa 2025 vs Indiana again then yeah it’ll be a dog fight. But if they can just hold their own I don’t see Texas being within 2 touchdowns in the 4th.
