Same here. His family is set financially if something were to happen and OSU is still the best WR pathway to the next level with Hankton coming in. And obviously Day is the biggest pull there is, as he's extremely close with the family. I would be shocked if he didn't land in Columbus.

OSU has nothing to do with the deal. These kids have their own deals with Adidas. That's why JJ Smith can be sponsored by Adidas but still wear Nike as its sponsored by the actual football program. The best kids in college sports now are making a bulk of their NIL money from national brands and the deals are solely with them and independent of the collectives. My friend's daughter was the starting SG for OSU the last few years, she had NIL deals with: Hollister, State Farm, Beats, and Raising Cane's just to name a few. Those deals had nothing to do with the OSU collective

That's where I land too. Unfortunately Hartline spoiled the fanbase to a point where they expect OSU to land multiple 5stars every cycle, or its a loss of a class. I can see Hankton utilizing the Portal much more than Hartline, and in an ironic twist I can see Hartline having to use the Portal since he won't get near the same type of talent at USF
