I want a defensive minded coach for a change that can actually get more fun his players. Mc Daniel wasn't bad really before the injuries dismantled the Offense but the Defense lost a ton of talent. There are pieces there but if we pass up Buckeyes again at positions of need, I might commit a crime.

For all the handwringing about mobile QBs, I agree and think Sayin can fill that role just fine. Looked like he tweaked his ankle against UCLA and lost some mobility and the great pocket presence he had against PSU when they were also getting a lot of pressure.

Howard’s success was more about experience and stepping up in the playoffs. I can remember more times that he slipped on the turf than had some game changing run.

Sayin running the ball wasn’t the issue against IU and Miami. He wasn’t ready for the constant pressure mixed with high level game plans. It happens and he’ll get better.

That was a damn good football game.
