Got this from a poster at 11W:
This is a small sample size, I get it, but for comparison sakes:

Bo Jackson: 66 carries 353 yards 5.3 yds/carry 2TD

Jakobi Jackson: 45 carries 278 yds 6.2 yds/carry 6TD

Jordan Marshall: 55 carries 245 yds 4.4 yds/carry 3TD

Savion Hiter: 46 carries 145 yds 3.2 yds/carry 2TD

I get their season is turning into a dumpster fire (ya love to see it) but all offseason, anytime SCUM was brought up, they were talked about being a top 5 in the country at running the ball. Oh how the turn tables

And I'll add that the other 5star in the class: EJ Crowell for Bama is a 3rd stringer with: 26ru 204yds 3TDs

Tbh I wouldn't want my program offering 7 figures for either kid. Its a much safer bet to develop a slightly lower rated RB who you feel comfortable in your scheme and knows he may have to sit a year or 2

IMO, we can get that bigger RB in the Portal. I want a younger more all around RB to be younger as he can be more versatile in the offense. And tbh, we don't know what the RB room will look like each year. I'd rather some what similar body types so we can use them in similar fashion. Jakobi, Bo and Isaiah are similar styles but there isn't a drop off when one goes to the sideline

This is about their level. On paper they coming into the year I think they were a 7-5ish team. And from the looks of it now they could very well finish worse (5-7 is a real.possibility). QB play is awful, the OL is bad and the defense is "goodish" but it is still beatable, certainly not near good enough to carry the dumpster fire of an offense.

They might as well just roll with Underwood. With that OL giving not much of a real running game the freshman QB would probably be even worse back there.

A school like Michigan should constantly win against Minnesota and Iowa. If they need bullshit to win those games, it really goes to show how fucked they are. Their leadership is ass, Underwood is probably one of the more overrated players I have seen in the past decade. I have them at 6-6. Rutgers and maybe MSU are really the only sure wins I can see on that schedule.
