Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

Look, I've been one of the biggest Barrett supporters on this site, but how many open receivers has he missed tonight? How many times has he held on to the ball too long? He's not alone, but he is a huge liability right now. We can argue chicken or the egg with JT vs. the WRs, but he has made some egregious errors tonight, and they're things he's had issues with often in the past. He's in his fifth year, he's past the "getting better" phase. He is what he is.
Agreed 1000%. I've tried to give JT the benefit of the doubt, but he just seems so in over his head now. New OC, new QB coach and still a pathetic offensive showing with all of these weapons

OU is better than I thought, so congrats.

Too bad the Bucks didn't have a decent QB playing, as this would have been a very good game similar to the barnburner Texas game 10 or so years ago. I never understood why people wanted Barrett over Jones in 2015, and then by late last year, struggling to move the ball against the likes of NW and MSU... unable to move the ball against a Clemson team that gave up 43 to Pitt... it was clear as day that Barrett just couldn't make the throws (except against horribly inferior defenses). Nothing has changed this year.
