I am loving the O-line's work; best that I can recall. I'm concerned about how young the line will be next year and the lack of game snaps next year's starters are getting. I know, obviously when you're fighting for your lives against Wisky, NW, and Iowa, it's difficult to work guys in, however...
This is why Mavety would be a huge get. Also, I wonder if Eluemunor would be available with the way Arkansas has looked this season (and that's if the staff would still be going after him; I have no clue if they are).

I would still like to see slants behind the LBs so that we get the ball in stride. On all of the out routes our guys have to stop and then try to make a move to get YAC and, while I love our receivers (I have never seen a group block as well), other than Wilson they don't have enough shake to get much more out of those patterns. Hit Devin Smith at speed on a slant, though, and it's house.

Can't help but think the offense has a lot up its sleeve it still hasn't shown and won't until after the regular season.

I cannot track down a link to it, but in the article: SI Exclusive: Inside Urban Meyer’s Headset
Meyer asked Herman to not show certain formations in the Buffalo game, presumably so future opponents would not see them. (Somewhere on BP is a link into the middle of this article.

But hey, we DID get to see a 2 QB formation (which only makes us want to see the 3 QB formation and the diamond formation).

So no further discussion needed on how good this offense is, how Braxton has progressed tremendously, how Hyde is a beast, and how Herman & Co. are maximizing the talent to an incredible level. What impresses me the most the last few weeks is how unselfish this offense is...every single player goes the extra mile to get that last block down field to get their brother in the endzone. The receivers, the RBs, everyone...incredible how many downfield blocks I saw the entire game from our offense. These guys can count on the other 10 when they need them and vice-versa, and it is showing. If they keep this up, we can beat anyone (not that I didn't already think that).

We are getting to the point now that we are effective enough at different packages that we are setting teams up perfectly. Ross Fulton did his usual good job recently at pointing this out in his Penn State analysis. Early in the year we were just trying to execute now we are picking teams apart. The Penn State game was the first time this year that I felt like we were a complete offensive team that could exploit each soft spot in the opponents defense at will. Body blow, shot to the head, body blow, shot to the head......repeat. There is a confidence that comes from that kind of execution that I expect to remain for the rest of the season. We got Penn State on their heals and kept them there the entire game. This team knows now how effective it can be and Braxton is showing he understands it all. To some degree I think his injury helped him see the whole picture in that regard.

As I have mentioned before I still think there are some significant wrinkles to our offense that we have not seen. 2 reason why we haven't seen them. The obvious being we want to hide them until it really counts and, simply, they are just the more advanced sections of the playbook. Something not discussed very much too is the power run game for Urban and it being relatively new for him. Yes, he had Tebow to run the power game but that's different than Hyde. What we are seeing is a team that can literally beat you with every different style of offense from fast tempo to slow, from Devin's vertical threat to the flash screen pass, from Hyde's power inside running to Wilson on the edges, and of course Braxton to take it anywhere it's open. That has to be an absolute nightmare for a defensive coordinator to plan for. Call me a homer but from what I have seen we do a better job of being well rounded offensively than any team in the country and I will take our O Line over any other team as well.

Agreed and the bolded especially. Unless we turn the ball over, I think we simply too balanced and talented to get shut down for any significant amount of time in a game. We might not put up 60+ against an elite defense, but we should put up 30+ barring turnovers. And especially agreed on the OL, I really think this might be the best performing unit in the country, especially in the run game (occasionally iffy in the pass blocking but Braxton is so nimble it masks that).
