2013 tOSU Offense Discussion

Love our O..but may have to slow it down some and burn some clock..to help the D especially with Hyde back

I was thinking this yesterday. As fun as Urban's offense can be to watch, I miss seeing I-formation or under-center runs up the middle late in the game. I don't remember for sure, but didn't we still run some last year when Boren was around? We don't even have a FB on the roster anymore do we?

What's the opinion on how Decker has done in the last 3 games? He could be a major factor in the Wisconsin game.
I think Decker and the whole offensive line, as a whole have taken great strides especially in the California game. And I think the Wisconsin game will give us a better picture of how far they have come overall. It will be interesting to see what happens when and if Miller is ready to come back. I hope Urban and Herman have a great game plan for the Wisconsin game. "Go Bucks"

Don't let up this week. Keep the pedal down please!

I think you got your wish. We scored every time we got the ball (except for that block in the back, where I think the player felt a touch on his back and flopped), and most of them were TDs. Here's to driving the field consistently. Opened up the playbook a little. A decent amount of carlos running, some throwing downfield, spreading out to the sidelines, and sprinkle in a few designed QB runs, and when everything breaks down Braxton played like Braxton. The offense had a really good practice vs Bye. This Meyer/Herman/Warinner monster we have at the helm seems to be a success.

Things are working quite well for the Bucks so far.

Through 7, they are nationally:

#7 in Scoring Off (1st in B1G)
#11 in Rushing Off (2nd in B1G)
#20 in Total Off (3rd in B1G)

There is no individual performance that is doing anything statistically big, but collectively as a team the offense looks great.

I am loving the O-line's work; best that I can recall. I'm concerned about how young the line will be next year and the lack of game snaps next year's starters are getting. I know, obviously when you're fighting for your lives against Wisky, NW, and Iowa, it's difficult to work guys in, however...
