Miami’s the harder matchup, but I don’t think it was a huge difference. Miami has a consistent passing game.

If they can get through the first few drives only giving up 0-3 points, OSU can adjust a bit, get Beck in bad situations, and get sacks and turnovers. Get a lead and exhaust their DL with the run.

That is the smart move and I could absolutely see them panicking, hiring a Drinkwitz type oatmeal raisin cookie and being married to that fucker for a good 10 years or risk never being able to attract a coach again.
