Bama and the SEC in general have taken a noticeable step back, especially on defense.

Go figure that with everyone being able to freely pay players which has caused the talent to spread out more along with the transfer portal taking away the SEC ability to over sign constantly and just stash depth at will that the SEC is no longer "dominant"
