ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Love him or hate him, you're about to see a lot more of him on your television. Pat McAfee is reportedly joining ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" ahead of the 2026 NFL season, according to The Athletic.

McAfee, 39, is expected to serve as one of the new members on the set, which will feature Scott Van Pelt, Jason Kelce, Marcus Spears and Jason McCourty. It marks yet another program at the network that features McAfee, who was reportedly negotiating a deal with ESPN in June that would pay him roughly $60-$65 million per year.

In addition to appearing on "Monday Night Countdown," McAfee already appears on his own daily show and on "College GameDay." By making appearances on "Monday Night Countdown," McAfee could be in line to play a prominent role in the network's Super Bowl coverage in February.

Ultimately his schtick is being a bro (from the snippets I have endured via my 21 year old son's interest in this slappy), and he's about to turn 40.

He's going to lose his 20 something target audience at some point.

Then again, my ability to make any kind of sense of modern pop culture/behavior is virtually nil so don't listen to me.

I may as well just go make a tractor rap album and get followers on social media.
