Good outing on the mound for Herrenbruck as well. Had a rocky 1st 2 innings but was able to rebound and go 6 allowing no more runs after the 2nd inning.
Eh I'm not sure how much Noel is really holding things back', it's nice to have another body but he was pretty meh when we was healthy. He had that 29 point game against NW but he scored under 10 points in 11/14 games he played in and 4 of those games he had 0 points.
The positive here is that this game was never being counted on as a W. If Royal and Bynum can hopefully both get better before the Iowa game we got a great chance there.
Vandenhuevel was a heck of a pull out of JUCO, that's the difference between Haire and Beals/Mosiello he's actually pulling good players into the program not just throwing darts at mostly Ohio guys and hoping they end up being good someday.
Buckeyes opponents that beat them look competent on offense. They manage to win despite being cold from long range because whoever they have on the floor know how to get open close to the rim. And their guys are always looking for the assist.
Seems like luck is just against this program. Im as big of a Diebler hater as there is but I can't even blame him an ounce for this one. Sparty doesn't play their best game but of course Royal ends up being out and Bynum is playing sick and basically worthless which naturally leads to a late game collapse

4-19 from 3. Christ. A lot of them were wide open shots. I’ve never understood the 3 ball from the corner. They claim it’s the easiest to make. If you miss, there’s rarely a chance for a rebound.
Uck no harm in losing this game but it blows that 2 of our better players were out to hand Sparty the game in the end . The announcers having an orgasm acting like Sparty beating an already average at best team missing 2 of their better players is some kind of great feat is adding to the annoyance
