CB Aaron Scott Jr. (National Champion, transfer to Oregon)

The CB is a depth piece. But he is probably gone. Sounds like maturity may be a big piece missing with Scott, so might be better without him.

You are probably correct.
Maybe but this one probably ends it.

2026 NFL Draft April 23 - 25 at Point State Park and Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh

New ESPN Mock Draft has 3 Ohio State football stars going in the Top 5

Ohio State is shaping up to have another big year in the 2026 NFL Draft.

In one recent mock draft, Yates and Kiper Jr. have three Buckeyes being drafted in the first five picks of the draft. Those three Buckeyes are Arvell Reese going No. 2 overall to the Tennessee Titans, Caleb Downs going No. 4 overall to the Miami Dolphins, and Carnell Tate bringing up the end at No. 5 overall to the New York Giants.

2025-2026 Ohio State Men's Basketball

How many games are they allowed to play and still redshirt in basketball? As in football they can play 4 games and still redshirt, if he plays day the last two weeks and any tournament play could he still redshirt if he wanted to?
I think the rules are completely different. My understanding is if you play in any games at all from the mid-point game of the season onward, it counts as a year of eligibility in basketball. That's part of why I don't think Ojianwuna is likely to play now, he'd have to give up an entire year of eligibility for two months of games.

2026 tOSU Defense Discussion

Seems we are about done so first glance day 1 line up should be something similar to the following

DE- Jackson
DT- Smith
DT- Walker
LB/DE- Russaw / Alliegro
LB- Pierce
LB- Pettijohn
CB- Matthews
CB- Sanchez
NB- Little
S- McClain
S- Moore

This defense will be very interesting. I can see us playing similar to last year, but I can also see the defense morphing into a 3-4 with the additions of Russaw/Alliegro to Pettijohn/Pierce/Alford.

Wondering if we could even see Houston moved back out to end for example.
I'll take that lineup all day long. We've also just got a couple corners that can play Nickel vs pass Offenses if we want and quality depth again.

It's good to be the King.

CB Dominick Kelly (Official Thread)

Wonderful young man, outstanding hard worker. Will give you absolutely no trouble of the football field and takes care of his business in the classroom.

Ran neck and neck with Ellis Robinson, the five star recruit who ended up starting as a true freshman. Ellis struggled earlier in the year against Alabama and Tennessee, but then made dramatic strides towards the end of the year, and he was taking the bulk of Dominick’s snaps.

Is likely getting more NIL money and more playing time in Columbus than in Athens.

Positives:
Fought and earned his way into playing time in Kirby‘s defense and did contribute. Absolutely never quit on the team or on himself despite a desire to contribute more no off the field issues, not a locker room headache. Very used to practicing HARD against good competition. Immediate contributor on special teams.

Challenges:
Reclassified so he was a 17-year-old freshman in college. YOUNG. Incredibly athletically talented but probably could stand to put on a good 10 pounds of muscle in order to compete in the Big Ten and then the SEC. Buckeye S&C will put him down a healthy path and continue the work done in Athens.

He left a great program to go join a great program. This is college football in 2026 folks. Shake his hand and wish him well unless he plays the Dawgs again
Cheers Woof. It is hard these days with all the movement. You love a guy then he's gone the next minute. Sounds like we're going to be happy about this young man.
