Unfortunately this team didn’t have that next gear we hoped they did. They fought but couldn’t overcome the right side of the OL and Sayin’s inexperience.
And as good as the defense is, they’re not nearly good enough stopping the run to be an all time side.
They can run the clock out! Defense needed that stop and didn’t get it. Difference in this game was one QB was 6 year senior and other QB redshirt freshman
Ya but he should be more like a sophomore at this point. He regressed the last 4 weeks of the year imo, and Fields Stroud and now Sayin were never taught how to throw the ball away.
I know I’m being selfish, but the underclasses need to come back for another run. The NFL sucks anyway unless you play for a big market team who has any hope of making the playoffs
