Where was the last place you went on vacation?

Haven't been to Yosemite in 20 years. Mostly because of the crowds. Wife took me there on our first date, (Bridal Veil Falls - imagine) and we went there several times since. From MIL home in Merced, went through the 'backside' into the park, and came down and across the golf course! Had dinner the Friday after T'day at Yosemite Lodge. Great food, and outside of the park. Where we live, we can go up 132 into Three Rivers, which is back entrance to Sequoia National Park, when leads into Yosemite. About a quarter of traffic, and General Grant sequoia tree - cannot drive through it, but oldest in America (?).

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Ohio State set to host one of the top transfer portal players for a visit, but it looks like they’ll have to battle Georgia to land him

Man we need this guy. Might just have to flex a bit financially to get him.

Wonder how UGA is depth wise? I can’t imagine they lost their entire starting front

Where was the last place you went on vacation?

My son and I hiked to the top of Half Dome a few years ago. It was mid-August and we started the hike around 4AM due to the heat and expected crowds. We didn't really start seeing people until we started coming down and even then didn't think it was too bad, until we hit the last mile returning to where we parked our car. Then we hit the crowds. I am thankful the park had a reservation system as I can't imagine how crazy it would have been without it.

In this episode, we discuss the most recent mock draft, Kent State’s firing of head coach Kenni Burns, and the latest in the Nico Iamaleava.

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s I-80 Football Show. On this show, we travel down I-80 to talk all things Big Ten Football. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.

Money, or lack thereof, is a major theme in this week’s traffic update, starting with Oregon suing former and current Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Lockyn for breach of contract. According to Oregon, Coach Lock owes them $400,000 from his buyout clause, and they want that plus interest. $400,000 is pocket change to the Oregon Football program, so the real question is, would they have still pursued this lawsuit if they beat Ohio State in the playoffs?

In other money news, Kent State fired head coach Kenni Burns due to mismanagement of money. According to the reports, Burns borrowed $100,000 from a local business owner, and he racked up over $16,000 in unauthorized purchases on his university-issued P-card.

Lastly, Nico Iamaleava is heading to UCLA after leaving Tennessee because they wouldn’t restructure his NIL contract to give him more money.

In the road trip segment, the guys look at Dane Brugler’s seven round mock draft and break down their five favorite team fits for Big Ten draft prospects.

Dante loves both fits for the two Buckeyes taken in the first round, with Emeka Egbuka projected to land with the Washington Commanders and offensive tackle Josh Simmons projected to land with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jordan thinks the Bengals getting Derrick Harmon at pick 17 and the Lions getting JT Tuimoloau at pick 60 are two perfect fits and steals of the draft. We also discuss picks we don’t like, and while we try to stay in the Big Ten, Dante can’t help but share his displeasure with the Steelers potentially taking Shedeur Sanders in the first round.

For their weekly pitstop, Dante can’t wait for WrestleMania this weekend. With it being John Cena’s last Wrestlemania, he’s convinced it’s going to be record breaking and memorable. Jordan, finally catching up on TV after football season, recommends the new Netflix mini-series Adolescence.

RB Coach Carlos Locklyn (National Champion)

Wouldn't his agent be on the hook for this? And wouldn't Ohio State read his contract before agreeing to pay his buyout?

If he's really on the hook for an extra $200k I'd like to think the school or boosters would pick it up. But if not then a gofundme might work.

Perhaps this is a radical idea in today’s world, but I think Coach Lochlyn should be responsible for his debts. If he and/or his advisors did the math wrong, that should be on him/them, not Ohio State fans. If Oregon is wrong, that’s for the courts to resolve.
