If you could change the outcome of one Ohio State football game, which would you choose?

1969 - without that 24-12 loss, the SuperSophs would have had a 3-peat. The Natty for the 1970 Coaches poll was awarded before the bowl games, and tOSU would have been ahead of Texas if they’d been defending 2 Natties. The loss to Stanford would have only affected the AP poll.

The Florida loss after the 2006 season and the 1976 Rose Bowl loss in Archie’s last game are the next closest for me.

Id have to say Miami 2025 or Georgia 2022.

2007 because that would’ve meant an undefeated season but I have to admit that’s behind these two because it wasn’t all that close. We weren’t the better team.

We were the better team in 2022- no JSN, Marvin, Stover, or Henderson. We were better we just didn’t finish the game (same for 2019 vs Clemson but I think we would’ve lost to LSU without Dobbins).

Miami- because had we got through them I think we win it all. I Think Miami was the worst matchup for us all year and that includes Indiana. Had we found a way vs Miami I think we would’ve ran over Ole Miss and would’ve been fuming mad vs Indiana.

2022 vs Georgia.
They wouldn't be my final call (reversing either of these results wouldn't mean any guaranteed titles) but 05 Texas and 19 Clemson deserve a shutout.

Of all the notable losses OSU has suffered over the years, these felt the most like sure wins (over elite teams) that simply got fumbled in egregious ways.

Most other notable losses, I felt were deserved.

I’d put 2022 Georgia in that same group. Just sickening losses.

2025-2026 Ohio State Men's Basketball

To anyone who watches every game (I also apologize to anyone who does this), what would you say is the identity of the team? I've watched maybe a half dozen games this year but I'm unclear as to what they can hang their hat on when their shots not falling....not good on the boards, not a lights out shooting team, not a defensive stalwart, not bully ball, not 40 minutes of hell press....

Team has had no identity pretty much dating back to the after Oral Roberts loss part of the Holtmann era. Go figure when you just hand the job to the assistant of the guy you just fired it's a continuation of the same issues.

Airport annoyances

Beside the fact that your ticket has your gate and flight number along with all the info on the flight app. Besides have you never flown before and can you not read? Lastly, it’s pretty surprising their wasn’t a seat issue.

Too me this is someone trying to fuck things up and grab a headline.
Agreed. Completely. And I may include the gate agent as a co-conspirator.

SF Anthony Thompson (Official Thread)

OK, Thornton gone, Tilly gone, Noel gone, can see a place for Smith day one. Thompson at the 3? Pushing Devin to teh 2, and Mobley to the 1? Help me here folks, not seeing the chess pieces on the board.....You get a 5*, you play him, natch! But where?
Hard to play the projection game without knowing what leaves and comes from the transfer portal game.

Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

Taped tOSU v MD game. Well, tuned in for the final quarter and a half. Heard that the Lady Bucks had been up by 19, but when I tuned in, our girls were behind, and stayed there. MD has the genie working for them, they were running in threes from everywhere, by everyone, and there was ALWAYS a hand in their faces. Saw some calls made, that weren't even close, but ref made them for MD. Seemed when our players made contact, whistle blew, but when theirs did, it was play on. OK, well know that a game shouldn't be close enough that a ref's call decides the outcome. On the plus side (I believe), when camera panned on tOSU players walking off the floor, there was looks of determination/anger/etc in all their eyes. Not sure that McDuff is a 'win one for the Gipper' kinda guy, but their faces said it all. Not a great week end, given the men's loss to VA, and wrestlers stopping by PSU, and now MD squeaking by the Buckeyes. Maybe stay from the East coast for awhile?
