Logic and fairness never seem to be their priorities.

I just looked up Jeremy. He’s a multi-millionaire, the current CEO of the X Games, and is married to a Brazilian actress.

It's a top 25 medical school that accepts only 5% of its applicants. Its graduates are just fine.

I think we definitely have a better shot getting guys like Williams/Blakeney who only have 1 year of eligibility left than guys with multiple years of eligibility left when it comes to getting them here to be a rotational player.

Guys with multiple years left (Like the FAU guard we were in on who decided to go the Providence) are way more likely to go somewhere where they are more assured to be a top end option for that team so they can try to prove themselves more as a reliable starting option and game for a raise and another program upgrade the next year.

I don't know much about Blakeney but Jimmie Williams would be an excellent get to backup the 2/3, think he would be rock solid at that role.

Some basketball coach (Utah, maybe?) buys some pizza to share with a player whose father just died. The player loses eligibility.
Miami boosters buy hookers and boats and coke and all the things for their players. We'll let them off with time served after self-imposing 2 years' post-season ban, after it was obvious that they won't make any impressive bowl games.
Chase Young wants to borrow some money from a family friend (not a booster) so his girlfriend can go watch his bowl game (and he paid the friend back), and he lost 2 games of eligibility.
Cheaters up north get caught illegally stealing other teams' signals. Just throw some money at us and you can keep all your shit.
Iowa contacts Cade McNamara the day before they're allowed to, and they have to vacate wins.

What's the thing people are saying, now? "Make it make sense." None of this makes any sense.

Buccos go down 5-1 early, in years past i would have shut it off and been done, but i found myself sticking with it, they fought back and though they ended up short, they made it a game. they had a prime chance to walk it off with 2 on 1 out in the bottom 9th, but just fell short. its going to be a fun summer!

I'm willing to bet that many people on this board have either participated, or come damn close to participating, in many of the moral behaviors discussed. I think the problem arises when people put sports people on a pedestal and then expect them to act according to the moral compass that they think people on that pedestal should follow. I want to be clear...Vrabel's behavior suggests that he does not interpret the importance of several values in the same way as many people here do...and further that he is going down a path that will lead ultimately to some serious issues in his life. If this is true, it will probably affect his performance as a coach, at least for a period of time.

We know what wins in the end, almost all of the time.

It’s just my opinion…..I get it.

Russini has now resigned from her job while Vrabel marches on. I guess it probably impacts her more as a journalist…..the impropriety of it all makes her look terrible.

On the Treyveon situation though……I don’t think Vrabel is now incapable of giving advice or being a team leader…it’s more nuanced though, IMO. He loses credibility in the locker-room when he’s out making shitty decisions.

Again, I’m a huge Vrabel fan…..but he does dumb shit at times and this is the latest occurrence. For those who’ve forgotten, Google “Mike Vrabel snack bar arrest”.
