Lane Kiffin (HC LSU)

Not terribly impressed by his accomplishments at each stop.

when we hire a guy, I usually look at his resume and try to find the good at his previous stops.

he won 10 games four times in 6 seasons at Ole Miss.

that's more 10 win seasons than Ole Miss had in total from the JFK assassination til Covid.

Walter E. “Ted” Carter (Former OSU President)

I wonder if WVU, which hired this guy as a VP and as its CFO, will now can him. I would if I were them.

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Not a lawyer by any means, but limiting a player's opportunities by curtailing ability to transfer (let alone coaches), might be considered a restraint of trade occurrence, and open up college football to monopoly issues (once again). Now that significant money is on the table.

You don't have to be a lawyer to see what's wrong with this proposal.

You would have to be an elected official to be blind to the inherent unfairness and legal issues this kind of rule would create.

Asinine Conspiracies

HA! Reminds me of arguments in my house. Usually parents vs. kids.
I say an argument is "won" when shit goes the way I say it's going to go. "Do your homework." I win the argument when the homework is done. "Go to bed." I win the argument when the kid goes to bed.
She says the argument is "won" when everyone agrees with her. There isn't a "Do your homework" from her. It's "Here's why you need to do your homework and I'm going to keep lecturing you until you understand and agree." Very frustrating.
Anyway, they say not to talk about religion or politics with people. I think it's because you really can't present any facts in either case that people will allow to change their minds. According to that video I linked, I guess most people aren't intelligent enough to accept someone else's viewpoint on these things.

Well, Dub, have always marveled how at the end of an (any) argument, it's always my fault, even when she dented my car with hers, as I was parked in the driveway, waaaay over to my side....other issues as well. Maybe we do need a female as President, against Iranians, Russians, Chinese, etc.

Accountability is a woman's kryptonite.. I too have been amazed at how many times that my wife lost an earring and it was somehow my fault. This is why I don't argue with them I just listen until they're down cackling then I walk away and forget it.

Ha.
My son was in the bathroom, pooping. Not a toddler, potty training. He was probably 14 or 15 at the time. My wife walked in on him. That was my fault.
True story.

Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 20 Straight B1G Titles)

Bestbuck, am I correct in thinking a win at the lower seeds counts as much as one at the top? Only ask because of the order in which they play. Doubles, then seed #1, #2, etc? Or maybe reverse?
Yessir but it seems to me that all the best have stellar talent at the top. If our 3-6 man up we got a chance this year to win it all. @gracelhink am I thinking clearly on this one?
