Unfortunately journalism has become a combination of National Enquirer and Jerry Springer. Most people get their “news” from Facebook and other forms of social media. Why? It’s all that most people will look at. If no one looks the journalist will be unemployed. So it’s hard to fault journalists for doing what the feel that have to to have their work looked at and get a paycheck.
