OSU is favored to land possibly the #2 and #5 DTs in 2027. This kid is seen as an afterthought. LJsr is cooking if he can land 1 of them, but also throw in that OH DL, Reynaldo Perez is also a serious consideration in the class as the 2 or 3rd DT, and OSU is still in a good spot at DTIs anyone as surprised as I am? A good midwestern boy, saying no thanks to the Buckeyes? Don't believe (but also don't KNOW) that the two-deep at either of those schools is any better/worse for him than the others. Can anyone drill a bit deeper on this? A free trip, with all the trimmings, to Buckeye-land is a hard thing to pass up, but either he did, or tOSU feels good enough about Fakatou to discourage him. Recruiting is still a very baffling business, that simply has to be experienced, not understood. Thanks in advance, Go Bucks!
That’s what I’m betting on too. I find it difficult for the OC to all of the sudden be a spread, pass heavy or even more balanced in one year. Especially since athletically Underwood is superior to any QB he’s had, also a QB who is not built to run as a primary run threat. he would be more successful in a spread offense. Marshall should be the happiest offensive player. I’d be pissed to be a WRI'm really hoping for this too, every time they have Underwood go on a designed run and take the RBs out of the game is a win for their opponents. Underwood has not shown that he has the intangibles to be a constant running threat. It'll work great against scrubs like Western Michigan and UTEP where you can get by on athleticism alone, but most of their B1G schedule will corral him. If they think they are going to get what they got out of Dampier (a true dynamic runner) against much weaker Big 12 defenses with Underwood against their schedule this year it's gonna be fun to watch.
Yes, I baby myself these days. No more prancing around like Lord FlasheartAs I have had two knee replacements, don't listen to those above! Jumping off anything, 4' or not, means that there is zero 'give' to one's knees. It hurts like heck, and gives one those lightening bolts of pain that shoot through you. Go to the edge, sit down, and slide off gently....
Does Kalshi have bets open on the September Heisman, yet? I have a mortgage I'm willing to wager.I'm really hoping for this too, every time they have Underwood go on a designed run and take the RBs out of the game is a win for their opponents. Houston lawyer accused of bestiality involving family dog
A Houston lawyer is facing charges following an incident that occurred in November 2025, according to court documents.www.fox26houston.com
Well the government has a supposedly bipartisan bill in the works to remove repeated transfers, it's going to be 1 "free" transfer only with "salary cap" and "legitimate business purpose" NIL deals only. Players could accurately see the federal government as hostile to their interests & could organize in order to try and avoid more punitive actions from the government later on.
Between Sept. 2, 2022 and Oct. 22, 2022, Sorsby made at least 40 wagers on Indiana football and/or individual members of the team. According to the documents, the bets ranged from $1 to $114 and totaled at least $850.
.
.
during his two seasons at Cincinnati, Sorsby provided more than $60,000 to a FanDuel account registered to his brother-in-law that was accessed by Sorsby and a friend, according to the stipulated facts. Sorsby placed at least 165 impermissible bets on college and pro sports, but none related to Cincinnati's football team.

Why on earth would players want to collectively bargain in college sports right now? They get to be a FA 4-5-6 times with no restrictions.
The only restrictions on their income and movement is how good they are.
This is getting int the NIL topic and not about basketball transfers at this point so I'll just leave it with saying the "establishment" brought this shit on themselves and the only real fix, as I see it, is to ask the question "are we an institution of higher learning" or "are we in the business of owning professional sports teams (entertainment)"?
All the issues come back to that. They are trying to be govern pro sports under the old framework of being an school. It doesn't work.

Steven Tyler Swain
According to court documents, Swain is charged following an incident involving the family dog "Shipley" after Swain's wife caught the incident on surveillance cameras that she recently installed as contractor work was being done inside the home.
The court documents provided very graphic details about what happened between Swain and "Shipley." We are unable to disclose the details other than to say the incident involved "licking."
The court documents stated Swain's wife said she was 100% sure the person in the video was her husband and 100% sure the dog in the video was her dog "Shipley."
I thought that they just didn't want that crap on their shoes.Actually thought it was a 'bit of class' that tOSU players didn't even make a move toward the logo. Would also bet vcash that there was a lot of angst in the Xichigan locker room figuring out how/who would go to war over said logo. And all for naught. Was very proud of the Buckeyes for that great move. I probably would have faked a run at the logo, just to see the reaction it got. But then I'm a tad childish.
, much like fans betting on their hometown teams to win. It was a way to make me feel more connected to my team when I wasn't playing. I always bet on Indiana to succeed."I would say that the lucrative nature of college coaching contracts you mentioned absolutely is a motivating factor driving some of these NIL prices sky high. I don't think it's a coincidence that no low major like a Toledo or Akron, whose coaches make relatively little, has a booster ponying up big bucks for any of these players. I do feel that at some point there needs to be an authority that helps set the rates of pay for college athletes (amounts which would vary based on the circumstances obviously) - possibly much of this could be done through collective bargaining but if players don't want to unionize then the NCAA needs to step up and do it. One way to sort it out is, if the player disagrees with the amount he's offered, hiring a ton of arbitrators to evaluate each player's value with all things considered - they do it all the time in pro sports.
