#8 Ohio State vs #9 TCU, Thursday March 19, 1215pm ET, CBS

On the bright side, I could care less about the rest of the tourney now that our boys lost. Supposed to be in the 80’s this weekend in SC. Lots of outdoor projects I can start on. Good, not great season. Bruce, I hope you have an NBA future! The rest of the team, keep practicing, growing, and developing. Someone has big shoes to fill at point guard. TIL next year….

Opposite for me I like to enjoy the opening rounds at least but this game being first and the end result makes that hard now

Diebler seems to have trouble making adjustments on the fly as well it's like he thinks he has to wait till halftime

The initial strategy of basically letting TCU have and making them beat you jump shots isn't bad because they are not a good shooting team. Problem is when it's clear they are on and making most shots at that point you gotta adjust and that was a big part of them building that 15 point halftime lead

Mobley just 3-11 from 3 this game which is not good. I wonder how he misses so many shots, it seems like every one is going to go in when he releases it, but 3-11 is not what the team needed today. Maybe he would shoot better if he slowed down a little.
This. Needed him just a little bit better, TCU scored in some spurts and we constantly played from behind until near the end. Shoulda woulda coulda. Good fight from the team to scrap and make the Tourney, it was fun to watch and especially to see Bruce make history.

X ... Twitter

But would it really surprise you if it wasn't ?

The fact anyone would willingly share made up shit and go "Well I'm sure somebody, somewhere, just HAS to be doing this" is... pretty fucking weird.

And to answer your question - It's possible to reconcile that mental health in this country is in a bad way; while not entertaining the bullshit of AI slop made by some geek in India or Russia.

Jake Diebler (Head Coach)

Let's see who we can keep. Mobley and Bynum will be getting recruited hard. We keep them and Thompson is what he's purported to be and we should have enough to improve a bit even without Bruce. I'm not sold on Diebler, but given his inexperience, and the improvement in intensity toward the end of this season, I haven't written him off yet either and hope he can show growth. I would love to see him add a wise old head to the staff to help him out with high-leverage situation play choice and design and substitutions, but my expectations are also dependent in part on the level of program commitment from the administration. When they played with intensity this season, they were really pretty good, but too much of the time they didn't have that intensity and situational IQ was lacking. Lots of games lost on the margins based on those issues. I really want to see a commitment to physicality and consistent intensity.

Well you can't control whether the refs call fouls but I do fault this team for reliance on hero ball instead of teamwork. This is another reason lack of depth hurts, you can't leave guys on the bench if they aren't executing the gameplan.

The refs were complete dog shit down the stretch and TCU got away with a ton. HOWEVER like I keep saying, if the team were properly prepared and played somewhat like the 2nd half in the 1st half we win easily and the refs aren't even a factor

A lot of what happens next year depends on how they finish out the roster. I realize the results in the portal have been poor (for the most part) so far ... which begs the question, will Diebler get good players in the portal this season? I hate to say it, but with NIL being problematic, I am doubting them at this point. Most of the guys he's brought in through the portal have not been what the program needed, their best add this past season is Tilly who started and helped but not quite what they needed.
