the words “his camp” is troubling. It’s CHJs decision if he doesn’t realize OSU PLAYS Saturday and Oregon does not. It’s an excuse …not a reason. MHJ Day would like to have you..but he’s prioritizing this years team which is what he would do for you when your playing.

Every human who has ever lived is motivated by self interest. Taking the money now+ development+ intangibles that matter to the kid is their own personal calculous of what the best decision is just like any actor in a market.

Some will piss it away, some will not just like any other age group handles money.

This is really for for Rutgers. If Schiano can put together a solid defensive staff, they very well could be a 7-8 win team.

Would also bet that they piss it away before they're 22, but that's another story.

Really humble and grateful praise from Joey B. You’ve always been able to see and hear the respect he has for Coach Day and his development. Yeah, he won the title under Ed O, but he seemingly praises Day publicly more-so than any other coach.

He went from 522nd in the composite at the end of 2024 to 137th in his final ranking. That much of a rise from expert opinions during his senior year is sure a good sign going forward.

Well, it was until Oregon backed up a Brinks truck to his house. Daktorian's e-mail also might have helped. And Oregon will win it's share of games, to be sure, just on their paid talent alone. gotta trust the coach's intuition. J. Smith could be the apex of tOSU's NIL payout amount, but there's always next year. PS, it's been said, might be easier to go into the portal and find a third year player, who's already proven, rather than a pimply 18 year old....No slight intended....

Earned top performer honors after a stellar showing at the 2025 Under Armour Ohio regional camp and has been a consistent playmaker on the club 7-on-7 scene. Meager production as a sophomore and junior compared to some of the top wide receivers in the 2026 cycle, underlined by an 11.4% catch-to-touchdown conversion rate. As a junior had to put on the cape quite often for a Northrop squad that finished 1-9 on the season. Possesses the physical tools and position-specific skill to potentially see a massive leap in production as a senior. Should be viewed as a traits-heavy outside receiver with the ability to contort his body and make acrobatic snags at the catch point. Has multi-year Power Four starter upside and the physical clay to one day merit NFL Draft consideration.

Just sayin': I have no idea what the competition was like in his Senior highlights; however, it does appear that he has a pretty high "WR ceiling" in college. Nice ability on acrobatic catches and breaking/avoiding tackles; in addition, he appears to have a quick burst of speed after the catch.

The Hoooooooooooshiers your daddy team looks pretty solid to me. It could come down to the D and who has the ball last. We don’t need to be short changing them

Just sayin': We know it happened back in the 60s & 70s at UCLA with their basketball team. Some UCLA booster named Sam Gilbert was funneling money to recruits to came to UCLA. You have to believe that stuff like that went on in football programs back then (and subsequent years) too.
