Of course it carries over from Holtmann and the end of the Matta era. I'm not saying we should be competing for the national title but 3 years not making the tourney at all should get you axed.

because to get this latest expanded model off the ground they had to have a structure agreed on by all conferences.

Next year it's just up to the B1G and the SEC.

They are going to do what most of us want, a 16 team (or more) field of just P4 "name" teams and I'm good with it.

There is no Santa, no Easter Bunny, I'm not nailing Alba and the Sun Belt champ is never knocking off a top 10 P4 team in their own back yard when they are focused for the game. Talent disparity is just too big.
