People who want to sound smart and then they say the wrong things. I'm no Mr. SmartGuy or anything, but when I hear people say something wrong, but they try to sound official, they sound double-dumb to me. I brought up people who say "Eastern Standard Time" or "Central Standard Time" when they're scheduling a meeting in August or July. Unless you're in a state that doesn't observe Daylight Saving, then you're doing it wrong. You aren't on any "Standard" time in July. Stop trying to sound smart.

And I'm not trying to open the door to debating that here, either. But she'd say that it's exactly, to the inch, in the right spot. One inch closer to the sun and we burn up. One inch farther and we freeze. And that's just wrong. In the earth's elliptical orbit, we are sometimes about 91 million miles from the sun, and sometimes 94.5 million miles from the sun. It isn't exact to the inch. The Goldilocks Zone is much bigger than 1 inch.
