To be expected. Just like Miami hasn't given up either. We all knew that this would be a battle until the end, and Jacobs is going to get some insane offers. The commitment was just to the top of the first hill on the roller coaster, we're now going full speed ahead and about to hit some massive loopty loops

Totally agree. If he leaves simply for more money, was never ours to begin with. And further, with what LJSr has stacked up on DL, even though he is a talent, tOSU might balk at meeting Miami and Tennessee offers. Hopefully this young man believes what he has been saying, that LJSr is the best DL coach in the business, and he wants to learn at his feet. That would be refreshing to hear.

Thanks for the share. I'm always hoping for an in-state kid to show out and earn a spot. It's definitely different now, and that would make it even more special in my opinion.

Anyone catch the Princeton vs Moeller game last night? Princeton RB and Miami OH commit Jordan Hall looked very, very good. Penn State offered him today, and sounds like OSU is definitely looking now. Listed at 5-10, 205 Hall has good speed and power. He had 170 total yards and 3 TDs against Big Moe

Cincinnati Princeton RB (Miami OH commit) Jordan Hall will be taking an unofficial visit to OSU for the Ball State game.
Recently offered by Penn State. Missed his entire Jr season due to injury at LaSalle. Won the MVP honors at the Cbus UA camp in May. There, he ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, had a 4.12-second shuttle, a 9-foot, 1-inch broad jump and a 30.4-inch vertical. Add in a 10.72-second 100m time from track. Could be a steal.

Our staff went into the 2027 class wanting to bring in a big time edge class and ended up with the best edge player from 2025-2028 in Jacobs, a 6’7 alien in Fakatou and a borderline top 75 player who’s the son of a former NFL player in Smith. Just an insane haul.
