Johnson has carried over his hot play with the Indy Heat team on the Nike EYBL 17-U circuit. Through four weekends (15 games), Johnson is averaging 19.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 steals. He is hitting 33 percent of his three-point shots (24 of 72).

The Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award was established by the conference's Faculty Representatives in 2008 as an addition to the Academic All-Big Ten program. To be named a Distinguished Scholar, a student-athlete must have earned Academic All-Big Ten honors during the previous academic year, have been enrolled full-time at the school for the entire prior academic year (two semesters or three quarters), and have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.70 or higher in that academic year (excluding any summer grades). Academic All-Big Ten requires a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher throughout the student-athlete's academic career.

Among the 125 football players in the conference, the Buckeyes had two players recognized as Big Ten Distinguished Scholars: wide receiver Carnell Tate and defensive back Lorenzo Styles Jr.

After transferring from Notre Dame in 2023, Styles graduated from Ohio State in May with a degree in consumer and family financial services. He did so alongside his father, Lorenzo Styles Sr., through the department's degree completion program. Styles has twice been an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and is a two-time OSU Scholar-Athlete.

Last concert you saw?

I was a big Weird Al Fan until about 2000 and then I had no clue which songs he was parodying because I didn't know them. There's cases where I know his version but not the original. Saw him at the fair here about 20 some years ago.

Yeah, there was definitely some of that. It was mostly the older stuff from the 80s and 90s, but he did slip in a few of the newer ones that made it pretty big. Only a couple that I was completely unaware of.

He definitely has a weird fanbase, though. Glad I went, wouldn’t do it again.

Cincinnati Reds (2025 is our year! Haha thats actually funny)

Not when we've drafted 20 SS the last 5 years! Lol

They've had the same strategy for at least 20 years. Draft SS abs move them where you need them and as many pitchers as arms you can destroy.

How's that working out?

Better than previous Reds regimes actually,

Drafting is one thing they have gotten unfucked under Krall.

Now if they could fix about 99 other things
