Where was the last place you went on vacation?

Cool. I went when I was in 28. Did it the same week that me and a friend hiked to Havasu Canyon. It was in March and got lucky with no ice at the top and it was unusually warm in the bottom so I hiked without a sleeping bag - just a foam pad and a couple of sheets. Saved a bunch of pounds I had to carry into the canyon.
Never made it there but it's on my bucket list

Mike Leach (HC Mississippi State, a National Treasure, R.I.P.)

I’m dying.

You’d have to throw the little bastard 8ft+ in the air to get him there.

You’d kill him.
I’ve heard the phrase “Surviving contact with the ground“ in a different football context

leave it to the namby pamby types at the ncaa to apply that rule to the midgets

Where was the last place you went on vacation?

The area southeast of Tucson is breathtaking. Benson, Tombstone Sierra Vista...

I hiked to the bottom of the grand canyon when I was like 17. I still have the picture for proof. I wasn't in as good as shape as I should have been, this was about 3 months after a surgery for a hernia. During my recovery time I laid in bed and ate Reese's peanut butter cups. I went from a greyhound to the Michilin man

Game Thread Texas at tOSU, Sat. Aug. 30th, 12pm ET, FOX

You want to avoid taking risks that don't give you enough upside for taking said risk, not just broadly avoid risk.

This one pencils.

You are risking your margin for error in-conference being reduced if you lose but you are gaining an equal or greater margin for error in-conference if you win.

It makes you more money, keeps the brand in the spotlight and the CFP risk/reward is no worse than even. You do this everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

HC Ryan Day (National Champion)

BREAKING: Ryan Day Has Never Once Dyed His Beard (Source: Ryan Day's Wife Dunking On Clay Travis)

So the universally accepted loser, Clay Travis, made a really weird point yesterday when he said you can't trust men who dye their beards. I was only able to watch the first 45 seconds before I fell asleep when he started comparing masculinity and Santa Claus and God knows what, but I did make it to the part where he explained that people don't trust Ryan Day because he dyes his beard. And I quote, "Ryan Day's approval rating would go up a billion percent if he didn't dye his beard. If he wants to be beloved, don't dye your beard".

Folks, I'm not even going to address the hypothetical statements he made about approval ratings and beloved and blah blah blah because not only is he a NATIONAL CHAMPION, he also simply doesn't dye his beard. Source: Ryan Day's wife

She misspelled “dyed.” :smash:

2026 OH DL Jamir Perez is a Buckeye!!!

The 6-foot-4, 330-pound Perez doesn’t hold a composite ranking, but has 20 Division I offers. Other schools that have offered Perez include Cincinnati, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Perez also offers the Buckeyes the ability to continue the famed Glenville pipeline, with Arvell Reese, Bryce West and Damarion Witten joining OSU in recent recruiting classes. OSU would like to pair Perez with his high school teammates Cincere Johnson (2026 linebacker) and D’Angelo White (2027 tight end) as well.

At this point, it would be surprising if Perez didn't eventually take an official visit to Columbus this summer. Following the offer, the Buckeyes appear to be in the driver's seat for the Glenville defensive tackle prospect.

Should semipro/college players be paid, or allowed to sell their stuff? (NIL and Revenue Sharing)

Speaking of the legal challenges anyone trying to control players without their consent is going to face…..

Eligibility limits illegally constrain and suppress my ability to earn……

Schools better stop fighting it and come to grips with a new reality.
