Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

You guys missed the memo. Chill. They’re doing things much differently this year.

It makes the regular season almost unwatchable, but then again, it was anyways.

Cavs will build up towards last few weeks of season. They decided entering this season, as I said 2 months ago, they are not chasing a great regular season record. It hasn’t helped them last (2) years.

They’re punting on regular season to be fresh in post-season. Let’s see how it plays out….

Indiana Hoosiers (2025 National Champions)

I suppose that there's some recency bias at work, but doesn't the 2025-26 Indiana team have to be in the discussion for best ever? A 16-0 record with "playoff" wins against powerhouse programs Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon, and Miami, not to mention the Heisman Trophy winner.

Absolutely. It'll be interesting to track how many future NFL players were on this team

Don’t understand the Fernando hate. He’s got a 6 year old in a candy store personality.

You just explained it. But seriously, there's nothing really all that hate-able about Indiana. At least for this year

Not often the Heisman winner is on the Championship team.

ESPN pushed him as great all season.
When you own the postseason broadcasts...

And the main revenue source for the ACC that Miami plays in...

You lie and distort, to pump up your product.

How many times did you hear about the dominance of the B1G tonight? They don't own that league or its partner networks.

He can't complete passes down field. He was bad at it before the injury and it's likely that he just flat out can't rifle it deep arm wise

He's a covid era super senior that is a system QB who mostly leans on his running game and defense.

Such a great kid, and such a bizarre rushing threat.

It looks like he's bumbling around like Peyton, yet you watch closer and he's running faster and more nimbly than all of his would be tacklers. He's a walking illusion, and will now go down as a legendary college QB. I don't know if he can translate that to the NFL, but he'll be well paid to try.
