After the game, in which the Spurs broke the Knicks' 13-game playoff winning streak, fans spilled out of a watch party in Manhattan's Bryant Park and onto 42nd Street, where some allegedly turned violent.

The NYPD said that in the immediate aftermath of the game, several people allegedly threw beer bottles at or punched police officers, climbed on light poles and scaffolding, got into fistfights, and jumped on top of cars and taxi cabs.

Eight people were arrested on charges of assaulting police officers, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration, according to the NYPD. Thirteen others were issued criminal court summonses for disorderly conduct, the NYPD said.

Videos shared on social media showed some fans clashing with police officers, and other videos captured apparent Knicks fans attacking San Antonio fans on the streets, ripping off their Spurs jerseys.

One video showed NYPD officers wearing riot helmets escorting several people wearing Spurs jerseys to a taxi cab to protect them from a crowd yelling at them.

Victor Wembanyama, other NBA Finals players condemn violence after Spurs fans attacked following Game 3: 'It's unacceptable'

Both the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs shot below 30% from the field in the final frame of the Spurs' redemptive 115-111 victory in Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

The fourth quarter was a rock fight. What happened afterward in the streets of New York was much uglier.

Real fighting took place, as Spurs fans were attacked by New Yorkers in the aftermath of the Knicks squandering an opportunity to go up 3-0 in the series. People wearing Spurs gear were jumped and followed. Videos of postgame fracases in the streets went viral, including one in which a fan's Victor Wembanyama jersey was torn, taken and stomped on.

Here is another assault caught on camera:

Just sayin': This is totally unacceptable.

Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

You can argue whether they know what they are doing, but you can't argue over whether they are trying right now.
For sure. We're making bold moves in the right areas, finally not being such cheap bastards, and making tough decisions. Plus I really like last year's rookie class...yeah we had a shit season, but it let us play them a ton early and eventually they started shining. I wouldn't be surprised if the defense is one of the most improved units in the league...if they aren't, Golden can pack his bags because the time is now.

Not to quibble, @Jaxbuck but with legalized gambling, I'd say the threat to the game is actually more than you're affording when it comes to the integrity discussion. Why in the hell would I place a bet on a game now, knowing that the people who are playing in it may be in it for the prop bets. And why wouldn't those players do so, when the consequence is ... this? So, has college football always had some level of corruption? I have no argument to the contrary. But, the legalized gambling industry can't be happy with this.

You are equating punishment of this guy to deterrence for others and I don't necessarily think that is a true statement.

If people are going to point shave, throw games in this day and age of legalized betting with all the ways they can catch you doing it then I would submit they are going to do it no matter what.

They have nailed guys in the NFL recently for legally gambling on non NFL games. They nailed the Cleveland pitchers. Pete Rose got a lifetime ban, all the other examples that have been thrown around and yet, this guy went and gambled on sports while being an athlete anyway. It seems as though he was not deterred by immediate punishment of other athletes and neither will the next guy be if they ended Sorsby's career yesterday.

The second part of "How can I ever bet on this sport again" is overly dramatic. If the only way you are comfortable placing a bet is on a sport that you think is safe from manipulation, you are better off not betting. Every major sport has had, and will continue to have, betting scandals. You cannot eliminate it so acting like this is some kind of breach of the public trust is a leap Evil Knievel would think twice about.

We are all a little salty at the TT oil baron for gaming the system.

The faux moral outrage over gambling/sports integrity and the like is just theatre.

2028 KY DL Kellan Hall (Verbal Offer)

5-star recruit shows why Buckeyes are hot on his tail at Ohio State football camp

The Ohio State football program is hosting its first camp of the summer, and a five-star recruit is stealing the show.

We have reached the part of the summer where the Ohio State football program is starting to host some camps. This is the first camp that they are hosting this season, and several highly-touted recruits are attending. This gives the Buckeyes a great opportunity to look at future prospects.

Every summer, the Ohio State Buckeyes usually get a few commitments from recruits in the following year's class. That would be the class of 2028 this year. Of course, the Buckeyes are paying plenty of attention to members of the 2027 recruiting class, as well.

Still, Tuesday afternoon showed a lot of 2028 recruits in Columbus. That is where Ohio State coaches had the majority of their focus. Five-star defensive lineman Kellan Hall is in attendance, and he stole the show with his size and his skills in the drills that the coaches prepared for him.

Five-star recruit Kellan Hall steals the show at Ohio State football camp

The Buckeyes are trying their best to land Hall for the 2028 recruiting class. Hall is from Louisville and has almost every major program after him. Other than Ohio State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, and many more have offered him scholarships.

This is the first time that Hall has been on campus, and he's there for a camp. It's the first time that he gets to see some of Ohio State's facilities. He also gets some coaching from those on Ohio State's coaching staff, which can help them develop a relationship with him.

Of course, he doesn't get to see everything that makes campus great. Ohio State still has to get Hall on campus for an official visit, which may not be for a while. With all of the competition that Ryan Day and his staff have for Hall, it might be tough to get him back for a visit.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

Ohio State freshman WR duo pushing for early playing time alongside Jeremiah Smith

Ohio State freshmen Chris Henry Jr. and Brock Boyd are pushing for early snaps in a wide‑open receiver room. Here's why both newcomers could contribute in 2026

Worth noting: Harrison and Olave arrived as four-star recruits, not the consensus five-star prospects that have since become the program's standard at the position. Both finished their careers among Ohio State's all-time receiving leaders.

Henry's appeal is rooted in his physical tools. The 6-foot-5 receiver, son of former NFL wideout Chris Henry, pairs that size with a large catch radius, giving Ohio State a true outside target who can win above defenders and finish contested catches. A significant portion of his production at powerhouse Mater Dei in California came on downfield throws and tight coverage situations, where his length and ball skills allowed him to turn difficult chances into completions.

Boyd enrolled at Ohio State after becoming his high school's all-time leading receiver, breaking records that had stood for two decades. But he was the 25th-highest rated signee in Ohio State's 29-man high school recruiting class. By recruiting metrics alone, he had no business being in this conversation.

But he is.

Whether that translates into significant production remains to be seen. But the early evaluations suggest both may already be closer to the field than Ohio State freshmen at the position typically are.
