Defense showing some holes and the run game has not been a priority in this game, but can't be too upset about that half.

Not a game most will be interested in but the BC/Va Tech game is being played in a Nor'Easter. Fuckery abounds.

A few random observations. Thin line between success and failure is pretty thin. This might look pretty different if Sayin doesn’t escape that one sack and scramble for the first down. But since he did, this little bit of running he now seems willing to do should be huge for the team going forward. Love that they’re using the middle of the field in the passing game and running out of wider formations. Also critical to future success IMO. I don’t like Nate Roberts much as a blocker, but he’s looked very smooth catching the ball and that’s a nice security blanket to have. I just have to laugh at punt returns: Even when the decision making is good, they can’t catch a break and get a good result.

I think I said it last year, but Sayin moves like Burrow, surprisingly slippery. Not the same instinct to run but as evidenced by that first half, they're working on it.

When a guy is completing 77.8% of his passes and averaging over 10 yards per attempt, I’m not one to complain about who he’s throwing to.
