Burns slamming stuff in the dugout while everyone else just has to stare straight ahead and pretend it isn't happening was funny. I had a dude like that on my team in little league---he would go berserk after striking out and everyone, including the coaches, would just leave him alone. He was a great athlete too---ended up playing college D1 in both baseball and football

Elly made an infantile blunder on the offensive side as well. Tried to stretch a routine single into a double and was thrown out by a mile. Next batter comes up and hits a home run. Solo shot instead of a 2 run HR.

I was today days old when I learned there is a soccer team from Liverpool England named The Reds.

I can only imagine the metric equivalent of how much ass they would have to suck to equal their American cousins.

Lol I was on a joint forces assignment in the mid 90s and ended up sharing quarters with a guy from the Royal Green Jackets. He would get going for matches like we tailgate for football but he'd do it indoors. He got me into the sport, at first just to drink black and tans till we couldn't see straight. But I kept hearing the commentators mention the Reds so I paid more attention and started following them every week. It just so happened they were really good which was helping with the Reds fatigue.

An added bonus was the first game I watched live Liverpool was just getting a star player back from a drug suspension,Robbie Fowler. Sure as hell he scored a goal and ran over to the end line got down on his hands and knees and acted like he was snorting the chalk line!

I was hooked yeah this is my kinda team.

Wow! Chase Petty might just be my favorite Red after that segment. Any player that has read The Book of 5 Rings has a hell of a future.
