UF is very much the typical southern SEC type university. Very prone to making rash decisions, and very reactionary when things start to go south.

UF may actually end up hiring him, even in the face of red flags, but would not be surprised if a short time later they pull the rug.

He did his predecessor at Cincy real dirty. That guy hired him up there to be the provost, and he immediately started undermining the guy with the trustees and local leadership. It got to the point that the previous President literally went full Costanza at a board meeting and quit on the spot. We laugh at the creepy jock-sniffing and #BET, but Ono is a really devious and terrible human being.
