Peak or not it could be massive. Whether a coach was a new hire or just used an offer as leverage for a new contract, increased NIL funding is a major factor in negotiations.

There will be some interesting bidding wars and any kid would be wise to consider the portal.

What I’ve heard is that Hartline now runs the offensive game planning meetings, where they decide which plays they are going to run and the strategy for the game. Prior to last year Day always ran these meetings and it was a huge time suck that he shouldn’t do as a HC. This season Day still attends most of the meetings, is heavily involved in the planning and has the final sign off on the game plan. To me it’s less about the in game play calling and more about the offensive strategy decided during the week. That’s when they decide on the pool of red zone plays that they will use. That’s when it gets decided that we will pull smith and Tate for TE 3 and TE4.

He’s so fluid in his route running, a lot like Mike Thomas. Dude can disappear and then just magically reappear wide open as if he’s Houdini.
