2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

Rumors are suggesting that Ono's deal at UF isn't done and that there are political powers that don't want him. Please PULL THE RUG ....
Which is weird because the only politics he seems to believe in are advancing his "brand." Just a few days ago, he signed a letter of university Presidents objecting to the administration's higher education policies and then had his name taken off it yesterday. I don't want to go into the content of the letter, just point out that he doesn't seem to believe in it one way or the other and will just do what's politically expedient for him at the moment. At tsun, signing it, and at UF pretending that he didn't sign it. In other words, a weasel.

That being said, I will absolutely have an erection that lasts longer than four hours if this job gets pulled.

B1G might have been able to, but the ncaa was limited by the established timetables that had in place. As satisfying as it would have been to watch, it would have opened up an avenue for tcun to throw a realistic lawsuit at them, as opposed to that shitshow that Ono tried to do before running out of court at the last moment. Damn, I'd really love to see that little fucking weasel finally get the comeuppance he so richly deserves. Being forced out by tcun helps. but the fact that he soft-landed into $3M/year at UF really sucks.

Some people fail up in this world. It’s maddening and inexplicable.

Well... they wouldn't be wrong about that.

With the amount of evidence they had, they could have at least put a torpedo amidships on their 2023 season in November of that year at the latest

Exactly. Also important to keep in mind - and remind those who insist otherwise - that the NCAA isn't the reason why this is dragging on and on with no final resolution. Ono, Manual, Harbaugh, Moore and everyone else up there refused to cooperate with the investigation, refused to negotiate in good faith and THEY are the reason why this is hasn't been resolved. When it finally is, most of the media and DFBIA will bitch and moan about how slow the NCAA moves and how this could/should have been resolved a year (or more) ago.

Bru McCoy (WR USC Trojans, transfer to Tennessee)

Easily one of the strangest football careers I can ever remember(and that's saying a lot)
Per wiki:
A five star recruit out of high school, 247Sports.com ranked him the ninth-best recruit in the class of 2019.[4] McCoy committed to the University of Southern California (USC) to play for the USC Trojans.[9] He graduated early from Mater Dei and enrolled at USC in January 2019. After 17 days, he opted to transfer to the University of Texas at Austin, as he felt betrayed by Kliff Kingsbury, the Trojans' offensive coordinator, leaving USC to be the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.[4][10][11] He participated in spring practice with the Texas Longhorns, before he decided to leave Texas.[12] He transferred back to USC in June.[13] He missed several months of the 2019 season due to symptoms that were never diagnosed, and took a redshirt for the season.[14][15] McCoy made his college football debut for the Trojans in the 2020 season.[16] He caught 21 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns.[17] After a July 2021 arrest for alleged domestic violence, McCoy was suspended indefinitely from the football team. Citing privacy regulations, former USC coach Clay Helton was not forthcoming with more information with the media.[18] Despite all charges being dropped for a lack of evidence, USC did not reinstate McCoy.[19]
Oh, and then he transfers to Tennessee, where he finished his CFB career

That's exactly what it is.

At this point if they truly did "nothing wrong" and the feeling was that the NCAA was going to fold and do nothing like their dear leader insiders claim, there's no reason for scUM to do anything to try to gain any favor.

Anything they do from now until the hearing is purely last ditch efforts to gain favor in the court of public opinion. It's not going to work, but it won't stop them from trying.
